Visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening while on a day out. Didn't think we would get a table, but they offered to accommodate us.We were taken to the table by the restaurant manager, then left for over 15 minutes without menus or any offer of a drink while we waited. When I caught the attention of the waitress, she brought the menus, but I had to ask if we could order drinks. She then had the foresight to offer us popadoms & chutney while we waited to order our main meals ( to be clear - these were paid for, not complimentary).Once these were served, we were then "left alone" again (a couple that had been seated after us in the middle of the restaurant had their order taken before us and we're eating before us) and it was only because we asked again, that our order was taken. After another considerable wait and request to check when our meals would be ready, we eventually received our meals (vegetarian dishes) and that was very tasty and beautifully presented - so compliments to the chef!It had become so busy that we offered to go to the counter to pay for our bill and the manager said to ask for the bill for table 9.We did this and was "told" the amount (no bill offered to check). I paid what had been asked, then requested the itemized bill. On leaving, I noted items we had not ordered. I returned and explained and was told by the young lady, we had been sitting at table 10 (so why had the manager told us to ask for the bill to table 9?).Once again we were not offered an itemized bill, but had estimated while waiting what it would approximately be. We received a refund for the first payment and came away thinking we would probably never return because of the service, not because of the food - hence the 3 stars.Moral of the story - always check your bill!

Nice environment, food delivery can be a little slow, not too expensive though. I wish they had some spicier dishes (hottest is what I would call a medium-hot). Parking limited, but usually okay.

Not the best experience when takeout as was cold and took a while, but the dining in experience is outstanding. Staff lovely and super helpful and friendly. Food (vegan bhuna and smoked aubergine) was delicious. Pakoras were a bit dry. I prefer lighter and fluffier. Otherwise brilliant.

The description of this restaurant is very misleading. If I could give a zero I would. The food was rubbish, worst place and food. People who are recommending it obviously not eat anything better, they need to go to Manchester Birmingham Bradford Leicester to eat real Indian food then they would never pay to eat this rubbish.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is fantastic and in my experience a step above the ordinary (if not two steps!). I really like the unusual and regional Indian dishes that they serve. The quality is high and I've never been disappointed. Did I mention that the delivery service is second to none!

A group of 6 went swimming at the New Bath hotel and wanted something to eat, We chose this as it opened early on Sunday afternoon . The staff were very attentive and recommended meals based on what we were after. The food was hot and delicious and gave plenty of time between courses. will be back again

Excellent Indian restaurant. Great service and wonderful food.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala, but I can say it definitely was not a chicken tikka masala at all, it tasted like the mint yogurt sauce you get, it was very watery as well. The chicken korma sauce was watery also. The egg fried rice was very spicy couldn't eat it. I also order the stuffed tandoori chicken rolls, I can say it was just tandoori just tasted like flamed grilled. I can honestly say the peshwari naan was the best thing I ordered from there. I don't think it was worth the £40 I spent.

*** Very Busy and Booking Recommended***I booked a table for 19:30 but we didn’t get seated until 20:00. I would highly recommend booking as they were very busy. The starters weren’t great, the meat seemed quite dry and there was a hole in the metal dish it was served in.The mains were amazing, the flavour was ridiculously good and I couldn’t stop eating. This more than made up for the starters and the slow service. The place was packed and it is understandable as to why.
