Not here for long, but beautiful place. Lots of wildlife and lovely views across the reservoir.

Great views from the outside of the restaurant, can be a bit windy but lovely in the sun. Food is good and a fair price. Lift up to restaurant from ground floor for those have difficulty with stairs. Recommended.

Fantastic restaurant with some truly beautiful views to enjoy a meal and a cuppa tea 🍵 to !Waitresses are extremely friendly and helpful. Apologies to the lady at the till when she asked me what sauce I wanted and I said red and white 🤣 glad I made you laugh haha

Completed the circular walk around the reservoir and visited the visitor center and cafe.What a clean, well laid out and great place to visit. Reasonable priced and easy to pay car park.A great day out.

Despite a rather dank and windy day Carsington Water was extremely enjoyable as usual. The facilities are excellent and the wildlife outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice place to stop for lunch after completing the 8 miles circular walk if the reservoir. The restaurant is clean, bright and has wonderful views over the reservoir.The menu was good with additional daily specials also available. Drinks arrived a while before the food and the tea and coffee were both good, however the hot chocolate was very weak and lacked any real taste.For lunch we ordered sandwiches and bowls of chips and the quality of the food was good.On departure we bought some cakes to take home with us and these were all good.Well worth visiting if your at Carsington Water.

Visited the cafe/shop downstairs on saturday 15/01/22 What a miserable experience! Two females serving one younger. One older. Spoke to me in very unfriendly manner and made to feel like they didn’t want us there. Will not go in there again when at Carsington. They were very lucky not to get my extremely annoyed thoughts but I had children with me and did not want to spoil their trip out. If you don’t want to be there then leave. I have worked in the same roles and So I am always polite as I know what the job is like. Miserable surly pair .£37.50 spent too on drinks and snacks so not a bad custom you wouldn't have thought.

Called before hand to find out about the walk round the water, the staff were so helpful. Easy to find, good facilities and the staff were still great in person. The walk is amazing. Took about 2 1/2 hours. Beautiful views and just very satisfying. Will definitely be back.

Great place to eat and very reasonable. Lovely views over the lake. Staff are friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Restaurant is on the first floor, but a lift is available. Serves hot and cold meals, cakes, tea and coffee.
