Really lovely inn, fantastic breakfast and a good night's sleep.Max the dog was very welcoming.Tasteful decor and warm, friendly staff.Beautiful view sitting on the terrace, with a fine pint of MilestoneWill definitely come again!

Arrived for drinks late last night. Great place, are allowed to stay in car park if you purchase a meal. Ring and check ahead of this. Will be back for food! Great location, all staff really friendly and their dog max was a handsome fella.

We have visited many times over the years and really enjoyed the carvery. Unfortunately it wasn't on when we arrived for Mother's Day today which was a huge shame.We enjoyed the 2 course meal however it was quite expensive along with the bar. Great staff though we may look elsewhere next time.

Got there at about 2, just after a long walk with 3 others. Was told by a senior male member of staff that we would have to wait 40 minutes or so to be served which was a little strange as the pub was only about half full.We decided to stay and had roast beef in a flat bread with chips. It only took 15 minutes tk get served in the end. The food was much better than it sounds, in fact very tasty. The waitress was very nice and efficient. Would have given full marks if the initial male made us feel more welcome.

Beautiful location, Inn is set on top of a hill with breathtaking views, great food, outdoor seating for warm days, indoor seating and a fire for cold days. Food has a lot of local produce and is excellently prepared and delicious, a selection of local beers. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly service, HIGHLY recommend!

The manager was very accommodating and allowed us to stay in our campervan in the car park overnight so long as we had a meal and a drink each. The food was lovely, the pub is in a great spot and great hospitality. Have recommended to others thanks again 😊

Booked in here for sunday lunch after a group walk around lady bower reservoir.The waiter was very obliging and friendly even though the pub was busy he managed to have a smile and joke with us.The meal itself ( roast pork dinner) was lovely..hot and plentiful but I thought was a bit expensive at £14.90.Lovely views from car park across the road.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Great vegan and gluten free options. They were very accommodating to dogs and they also let me change my food pre-order with 30 mins notice. Really loved it 😊

We went on New Years Day and had an excellent time there. The staff were so nice and welcoming, the cake was yummy and the beer was great. Very child friendly, very warm, so we will visiting more often. Keep up the good work!

Having driving past the Millstone hundreds of times over the years thinking about stopping, we finally did what a pleasant surprise it was warmly inside 2 log burners throwing out a lot of heat. We had a starter, 2 mains and a pud all excellent good portions and tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
