Miners Arms in Derbyshire Dales

It's set in a little village of Carsington in the heart of the countryside. A mile or so walk to Carsington Reservoir. Inside is very modern and stylish. Even your dog can come in. Great for family's couples like us. Staff are friendly helpful. The service is excellent. The best Sunday meal we have had for a while, like my mum used to make. QUALITY

Ordered a takeaway tea for two, was not disappointed, was lots of different sandwiches, includes homemade savorysection, & assorted cakes, very fresh, best one I've had yet, good value for your money. will definitely order again. staff very friendly, & have booked in for Sunday lunch. The best Sunday roast I've had in a very long time. Every dish was delicious. Well worth a 90 minute drive, and I'll happily do it again.

I have just had the best burger I've even eaten from here! Its dog friendly too so was ideal after taking our dog around Carsington Water to stop here on our way home. Great service and amazing food. Will definitely be back when next over that way.

Oh my god. This has to be the best roast dinner I've had.The meat was cooked to perfection, the gravy and the cranberry sauce was excellent. The Yorkshire pudding was brilliant. Even the cabbage and I'm not a big fan of cabbage, but here it was the nicest I've ever had.I was recommended by a friend and will pass on recommendations to others.Keep it up Minors Arms :) all I ask is that you do not let the quality slip.

we arrived 2:10pm on thursday after hiking. A prebooked table was ready. the menu is comprehensive and including dishes from far east. the food we ordered were tasty.

A group of us stayed here the weekend 26-28 Nov 21. The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. The food in the pub is awesome, especially the pizzas, huge!! We had snow and a frost so had to be pushed out of the car park, but again the staff were there to assist. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible. Friendly staff, good location and the best Sunday dinner we’ve ever had outside our own home. If you’re one of those freaks that likes your meat grey and dry then go elsewhere as this is meat cooked properly! Beef is medium rare, chicken is juicy and tender and not overdone as it usually is and the pork belly has the perfect amount of fat, meat and crackling. We had the £35 platter for two where you get three full potions of each meat along with plenty of veg, two yorkshires, gravy, stuffing. Couple of nice estrella pints too. Trust me, just book yourself a table here, you won’t find better.
