Wonderful staff, beautifully presented & delicious food.

Visited today with 2 friends for the afternoon tea. Absolutely beautiful , couldn't find fault with anything . Well worth a visit , and will be going again soon 🙂

WOW WOW WOW....just had a fantastic lunch here today. Totally bowled over by both the menu choice and daily specials, it was difficult to choose what to have!! The eaterie is spotless and all the staff were both friendly and approachable. I was very surprised the bill was so reasonable for the standard of food eaten. I cannot wait to return very soon.

Really expensive but very well executed,good service and plenty of filling/ingredients,so I have to say I didn't mind paying would go again.

Fabulous afternoon tea, both traditional and savoury. Far too much for a quick trip… take it leisurely! They don’t rush you and the service is spot on!Highly recommended, but don’t tell everyone… I struggle to book in as it is it’s that good!

Clearly, a lot of people enjoy eating here and the cream tea being served to the table next to us looked super, however, I felt our food fell below par for the price charged. Mine was mushrooms on a piece of toast, one very small piece, taste wise the mushrooms were nice but it really needed more bread and for £9 , I didn’t feel it was value. The staff were very nice.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Really nice building, beautifully decorated for Christmas, real character. The team served us late in the day on a Sunday. The choice was great with some lovely sounding dishes. A lot of patrons were having the afternoon tea which looked fantastic (another time). Service was really friendly and the food was excellent. Thornbridge AM PM ale on draft was exceptional, fresh tasting and crisp. Had the pie and chips with gravy and mushy peas - tasted great and generous portion size. Daughter had chilli which was also very good. Another time will try the cakes which looked very tempting. Overall was superb and will definitely return. Highly recommend

One of the best breakfast emporiums in Derbyshire. The standard of food is of a 5-star hotel, service and cleanliness is second to non. Rob and his crew look after you from the moment you walk in the door.Enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. 👍🏼

We had a fantastic afternoon tea. One sweet one savoury, both delicious. Service was great and the food was amazing. Big thumbs up and we will recommend to everyone we know.

I can't rate this place highly enough. The most amazing good value afternoon tea I have had and the rest of the menu looks ace too.
