Piedaniels in Derbyshire Dales

One of my favourite places I've eaten to date. This was our final meal of our Mini honeymoon. It did not disappoint in the slightest. Not only was the food good but the service was another level of excellence. Thank you so much for making it a special night for us. Will definitely return one day!

Four of us dined here on Thursday, food was lovely with good sized portions. I had prawn souffle followed by lamb shank, both were delicious. Nice friendly atmosphere and great staff.

We had a wonderful meal here. All 3 courses were delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were attentive and friendly. It has a lovely ambience too, heartily recommend eating here.

Really good place. Food is exceptional. Lovely couple running the restaurant. Wines very good. Price point good, considering the high quality. Absolutely recommended. We will definitely eat here again.

We have just visited for my wife's Birthday. The menu choice was excellent & consisted of authentic French cuisine. The service was attentive by very friendly staff. Our choices of food were all well prepared with fresh produce & cooked to perfection. Thank you to all the staff of this family run restaurant for the hospitality. We will certainly return.

First visit to Piedaniel's last night. Absolutely fabulous! Lovely restaurant environment, staff were polite, friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Food and service was exceptional throughout, I cannot fault it! We will definitely be going back!

Taken by my family for my birthday. Absolutely superb. Interesting menu. All dishes beautifully presented, top drawer cooking. Good wine list, reasonably priced. Service attentive without being intrusive. Nice ambience. If we visit the Bakewell area again we would love to eat there again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great food and service. We had a truly lovely evening here whilst we were visiting the peak district. I would characterise the food as deceptively simple but done very well. For starters we had crab souffle and and black pudding. Both were good but the crab was the best. I had the cod which was cooked to perfection, my partner had the chicken. We both shared a crepe Suzette which tasted great and was a nice show when it's set on fire. Service was attentive and friendly. Beats many places we have been to in London.

Amazing food, tasty and beautifully presented. My photos do not do the aesthetics of the food justice. Even if we hadn't gone during the eat out to help scheme it would still be good value for money. It worth noting your mains come with a sharing vegetables and some potatoes automatically and is not mentioned on the menu.

This is a lovely, quaint, friendly place. The food is amazing and the staff are only to happy to help. We went for a girls lunch. There was starters, mains and pudding. Parking is close by. These are four different puddings we had.
