Pool Cafe, Hathersage in Derbyshire Dales

A great pit stop with some of my rambling chums, Terry, Eileen, John, Trisha and Kath following a 12 mile hike from Cutthroat Bridge and taking in Derwent Edge. Cold but wonderful. Lovely flapjack.

Called in before an appointment as I was early , very friendly fabulous choice of food and delicious too 😋

Lovely friendly cafe. Daughter was delighted with her milkshake. Very good cakes and flapjacks. The rest of the menu looked good with good variety.

Arrived late on a Sunday and had child with gluten intolerance. Chef whipped up alternative no problem. Good value and tasty

Lovely spot to eat before or after a swim. I had homemade fishcakes with chips and salad, carrot cake and an elderflower cooler. Would recommend. Excellent spot.

Clear and reasonably priced menu, outside dining, good range of vegan options, nice view.

Good range of food especially vegetarian options. The tea’s and coffees were nice and portions were a good size. The cakes and sweets were delicious.
