Super fish and chips. Freshly cooked, and very friendly service.The benches by the mill pond are a perfect spot to eat on a summer's evening.

The worst fish and chips we had ever tasted. Fish large was dry and over cooked under the heaters. The other fish, small was under cooked with. Staff unhelpful!! Would go elsewhere never return. Just to point out as as a former fryer, fish is always cooked to order chips should be fresh and good thick cut.

Been to this fish bar today, we had fish and chips, they was lovely, in fact the best fish and chips I’ve ever had from a chip shop. If in Cromford you must pay a visit.😊😊

Possibly the best fish and chips I've had for a while. Always get haddock and chips but they had cod which I've never been keen on. However this was the best cod and chips I've tasted. Reasonable prices too. Can't fault it and will be back after our walks in the Peak District.

Quick service, great taste, but sadly the portions are tiny for the price!! Ordered a large of everything and was barely enough for one person. Really dissapointed.

We came today because I wanted to show my boyfriend how amazing the chips are here!! The staff were so lovely and went above and beyond !! Highly recommend but remember it’s cash only!!!❤️

Love the fish it was faultless. Lovely thin crips batter and soft flaky fish. I wasn't sure about the chips qs there were some crinklecut ones and unfortunately not cooked through.I'm sure it was a one off (I hope) will be back for that delicious fish though

Went here today. Been staying in the village and been waiting all week for fish and chips.. (only open Fri /Sat)Well worth the wait.. Matlock bath may be full of fish and chips.... But this is the best in the area.. Crisp batter.. Flakey moist fish and wonderful crinkle chips.. 10/10
