Has to be seen to believe, the best book shop ever in the most delightful setting, it is like being Alice in Wonderland! Oh and don't forget the Cafe! Delightful place to visit, even if you're a local ❤️

What a fabulous bookshop. New and old books cheek by jowl. A great little cafe and friendly staff. The perfect antidote to online shopping and a treasure that's always a pleasure to support.

Amazing book store, I have come here a few times over the last few years and it is always been a highlight of any trip. There is an absolutely amazing amount of choice to be had, across all of the floors, which have groups of different themes. I must have spent at least an hour or two in my last visit and brought more then a few books.I would definitely recommend as an addition to any trip around the area, plus there is even a small cafe, selling things like cakes, which is part of the shop.

Amazing old bookshop stacked floor to ceiling with books, it has narrow aisles and plenty of rooms to discover. Easy to lose yourself here for hours. It has a wonderful cafe area with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and seating both indoors and a lovely tiny outdoor courtyard. Set in a fantastic location next to Cromford pond and with magnificent hills in the background.

I don't know why but this is simply the best book shop ever. An eclectic mix of second-hand and new publications all over 3 floors.....and a lovely little coffee shop too.

An amazing bookshop with three floors of new and secondhand books, plus a café! There is an entire room dedicated to visual arts and another to music. Friendly staff help to create a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and I came away with a pile of interesting books that I am looking forward to reading. A new favourite bookshop that I will now try to visit whenever I am in the area.

A fantastic bookshop that includes new and second hand books. Interesting selection of both. Compact so prepare to squeeze you way around some of the shelving, but worth exploring. Lovely little cafe tucked away upstairs. Teas, coffees and a few simple lunch options.

Loved the intimate feel of this book shop. Immense stock located in every space over 3 floors. Very relaxing and enjoyable bookshop.

One of the best bookshops, a warren of small rooms crammed to the rafters with new and second hand books. Great cafe serving meals and snacks.
