Stayed in Bakewell for a weekend and popped in to The Bulls Head for an evening meal. Little old school pub in a quiet area. Staff was very nice, helpful and atmosphere was nice. Food.... awww food was amazing!!! Ordered venison burger and it was so delicious and well presented. One of the best burgers i ever had and i am picky when it comes to meat 😆 good size portions, you won't leave this place feeling hungry. Menu is small however, it is rich in some amazing and unique dishes. Pudding was beautiful as well.I tried few places during my stay but this was my best food experiance in Bakewell!!!

We have been here twice for food and we absolutely love it. The best food we have had whilst eating out for a long time. Staff are lovely. Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

This a lovely country pub. The service is excellent, warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble. My husband and I have eaten here a few times recently and the food is always spot on. Every meal we have had has been delicious and good sized portions. I would recommend booking a table as it can be busy at weekend but no surprise there.

My wife and I stopped here for a spot of lunch and were very impressed. Lovely pub, friendly staff, good food, good service and a very nice pint. Happy to recommend.

Had a wonderful birthday meal here. Great range of options on the menu to suit three very different people (who are also rather picky, if I'm honest!). The quality of food was excellent and portion sizes were very generous. Maybe best of all, we were made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed chatting to the barman and landlord. Have already recommended to others and hope to return one day soon...

Amazing pasta dish and the best onion rings I've ever had. Lovely warm welcome from the pub hosts. As special little pub worth visiting with cosy ambience! 10/10.
