I get dutch cheese here and loverly scones. Everything is fresh. Staff are great and know about the products they sell. Fantastic small shop.

Lovely and friendly and a good selection of cheeses and pies.

Shame about the staff/ownerI have been going here for near on 10 years and recently it’s seems to have changed hands. Young couple seem to to be running it. The small cafe at the back has gone and the range doesn’t seem as good. Most upsetting is the attitude of the guy running it (tall ginger guy with beard) my wife and I have been in a number of times independently and each time he has been rude. No hello no thank you. Doesn’t smile. Unfriendly and abrupt.I live local and passionate about shopping locally but will not be going back here. Luckily there is many more great shops in Ashbourne with wonderful staff which sell the same products so they will be getting my business form now one.

Far better than Costa for a quality coffee and a bite to eat, pork pie/cheese scone anyone? Great deli and sweet treats counter also.

Lovely cheese and onion bread- so good in fact we went back for more. Pies were bit of a let down - they look amazing, but mash potato seemed to be the main filling. Great fun and friendly staff. All good

Smoked blue was delicious, black bomber was awesome, Cornish yarg was pretty good, and the soft cheese we got was great. Serve with Carr's Melts for perfection (other crackers are available, of course, but these are champion).Great staff, friendly place, wide variety. I'll be back.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Only 3 tables but fell lucky. Had the tuna melt Panini, chicken and cheese sandwich and a Steak & Stilton pie.Good, friendly service. Even asked my daughter if she'd rather not have the salad! How did he guess.Food was great. Pie was fantastic. Recommend this place.

Expensive for what it is, flies all over the produce and the music is distasteful for a shabby chic style family cafe. Waitresses lovely but manager is just rude and makes you feel like you are a bourdon and he is to busy for you. I was really looking forward to going here and overall I felt disappointed and fed up. I would not recommended, the building is beautiful but that's it unfortunately.

Lovely little place lovely food and a really big tea pot of tea has some lovely cheeses to be tried and some lovely pies, the wood they've used for the inside it is exceptional looks amazing. Only list one star fit to the toilet, however would highly recommend
