We visited today, group of 6 plus a dog! Dog treats and toys on arrival, great load of vegan options including deserts. Bar tender very friendly, food great and fairly fast and servers friendly too. Small but full of character and homely

The Flying Childers is a traditional cosy pub run by the loveliest people, Richard and Sophie. An award winning pub in this years British Pub Awards, it is the place to go for a delicious selection of ales, a gorgeous menu with loads of vegan dishes available and good conversation.The Flying Childers won the Best Pub for Dogs this year, so if you want to take your dogs you can. We always love seeing everyone's dogs when we are in there.I guarantee you will be offered the warmest welcome and I cannot recommend the Flying Childers highly enough.You won't be disappointed.

Great to visit this pub again. Wonderful vegan inspired menu, warm welcome, cosy feeling, hubbi loved the fruity cider and some tasty red wine. Will be back soon.

Lovely unspoilt pub with good pub grub and well-kept real ales, incl local ale. Run by v friendly and kind couple. Log fire, cosy decor and very comfortable inside.

Stumbled upon this place after a steady 10 mile circular walk around Stanton Moor. Was greeted by the most friendly landlord I have possibly ever met! A cracking chap with alot of interesting chat about the area. Lovely setting both inside and out. Great selection of beers, bars snacks and its also dog friendly!!Will be visiting again soon!
