The Knockerdown Inn and Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

Called last minute to get a mothers day treat booked and wasn't a problem, the place was clean, and the staff were very friendly I was surprised that there were no menus on the tables but there was one behind the bar on a big board ( I didn't need my specs to read) it was a small menu but I would say it would cater for most likes dislikes. The food came piping hot and extremely tasty, we all cleared our plates. And the deserts were lovely. Would definatly go back,

Lovey place had a surprise birthday dinner with my son, daughter in law and lovely wife. Good food nice beer and lovely setting.

Beautiful pub, the mixed grill was absolutely excellent and a great range of beer with friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returningPlay area is very good too

It's a very pleasant place, and for the most the meals were good, but advice don't bother with the chilli it was dull and dry.

First time here for a meal, Great pub food and service was superb, definitely be visiting again.

Very nice pub, food smelt great. Only downside to it was the alcohol price was a little expensive for myself

A solid countryside pub with a good outdoor space, although it was a little cold for us today.Veggie options were good, a really nice goats-cheese lasagne is what I'd order again if I came back.3 stars not 4 stars as the quality of the food didn't reflect the price, but we weren't unhappy with the experience at all 👍

Lovely pub nice outside space with plenty of seating and a play area for kids. Called on Sunday for a Roast but sadly they had sold out as they looked lovely. We had meals from the main menu Steak Pie, Chicken Pie and Gammon all lovely and piping hot. Staff polite and friendly would recommend especially for families.

Nice pub and large grassy garden with children's play area. Good food being ordered all around us although we only needed a lite snack. Real ales served and usual lagers, wines etc. Good and helpful staff.

Nice pub with lots of outdoor space and children's play area.Camping is also good, reasonably priced and space for caravans and tents. Short walk (across fields) or drive to Carsington res.Pub food was nice, fair price, good food offering. Easy access and toilets for wheel chairs or children.
