The Lathkil Hotel in Derbyshire Dales

We came for a family lunch. The views are breathtaking and the service friendly and attentive. Good food too! Thank you for our visit.

Lovely small hotel with beautiful views across the valley, friendly staff and ample parking. In a quiet location and within walking distance across fields to Bakewell...took around an hour. Room was comfortable with a great shower. Gorgeous breakfast. Bar had 5 local beers on.

Set in lovely quiet with outstanding views. Nice cozy pub again with amazing views from all windows. We had table but window and was served a beautiful roast beef dinner. Service 100% friendly staff. Left the pub full and happy then a sit outside to take in the stunning scenery. Defiantly going again.

Lovely walk today then finished up at the Lathkil Hotel. Very welcoming and some nice cask beers. The Kiwi IPA went down very nicely. The view from the beer garden across the valley is stunning. A lovely pub.

Lovely views nice area and the food was spot on we had a roast beef dinner,plenty of food and really tasty, we'll be back soon 👍👍

Wholesome and reasonably priced food. Good range of drinks. Wonderful views. The service is friendly and helpful. We’ve taken friends there for the bread and butter pudding with whisky and marmalade which is stunningly good. It’s a bit out of the way, but there’s a warm welcome after a cold trek down the Lathkil.

Me and my husband visited Lathkil hotel for short stay. We both enjoyed the experience. Hotel is very nicely maintain, staff is very friendly and the food was outstanding. We also very much enjoyed the panoramic view while dining. Highly recommending!

Stunning location & views with a warm down-to-earth homely feel, plenty of chatty locals and friendly staff. Nice ales on tap, but I haven't eaten there yet.

One of out favourites. What could be better than having lunch and a drink on a sunny day looking at one of the best views in the Peak District. Staff very friendly and the food is fantastic. If you want to get away from your busy lives and go home with that feeling of happiness and calm go here.

Hosted my family and friends, a large gathering of nearly 30 people. They accommodated us brilliantly, lots of communication by email in advance and perfectly sorted individual bills for each family. Lovely pub food (great puddings) and we enjoyed the Farmers Blonde ale. Beautiful views and local walks. Such a picturesque village. Highly recommend this pub if it's just for a pint and crisps whilst walking, or you're having a large gathering. They're really well organised.
