The Lime Lounge in Derbyshire Dales

Lovely little cafe in Bakewell! We arrived in Bakewell very early on Easter Friday to avoid the traffic and needed somewhere for breakfast.The menu was great, we both had a really nice vegetarian breakfast with a pot of tea. We saw lots of other people having cakes and pastries.

Nice coffee, and GF choices (including the Bakewell pudding 😋). Good place to take a break 👍🏻

Impressed by the vegan options, especially with the blueberry crossaint which was amazing! Also had the vegan oatcake (pictured) which was delicious.

I love this little cafe and have been so many times over the years but today I visited and felt a really strange/irritated vibe off one of the member of staff which made me feel uncomfortable. She was clearly irritated about something and was quite short/standoffish. The other members of staff were really nice and the food was lovely but I left feeling a bit put out that I was made to feel unwelcome at first.

Beautiful and cosy coffee house. Situated within walking distance of bakewell Town center and ample parking nearby. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Perfect for a quick coffee or a bite to eat, family friendly, very clean. 5*.

Friendly and quick service, reasonable prices. Exquisite Victoria sponge cake, however the coffee was just average. I'd go back to try other cakes, though.

Always friendly. This is my favourite Bakewell cafe. Good cakes. Good coffee. Easy clean floor that is perfect for muddy boots. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely festive message on our Bakewell Pudding today. Thank you.

We loved the Lime Lounge great service fabulous location and to top it all off great tea & scones.

Went for breakfast and it was so good we went back for post walk treats. My dining companion a sconnoisseur, declared these were the best scones he's ever tasted. I can't disagree. He ordered a second. I got one to take home. Next level scones in a sea of puddings.
