What a lovely pub.Proper traditional boozer, lots of little nooks and crannys.Good selection of well kept hand pulled ales.Cracking menu.Had a very hearty tasty lunch and all in a beautiful village setting.Gem of a find.

Went for dinner as staying in the village. Super friendly staff and good service. Proper pub food, tasty and good portions. A good selection of local ales on too. Nice little log burner going and lots of different areas to sit. Some seating outside on the little green to the front of the pub. Worth a visit.Went back a second time and had the steak and ale pie… was great. Highly recommend.

This is just the perfect village pub...and possibly rates as one of my favourite pubs now. It's a super cosy, traditional pub. Good beer, dog friendly. Beautiful setting too.

Lovely country pub serving good beers and classic British dishes. The pub has tables outside the front on the village green, which makes it a great rest stop on a long walk.

Always one of my favourite pubs to stop at for a quick pint on a long walk. Even more so this time due to all the snow! The pies are exceptional

Impromptu stop at this pub. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and given the quality of the food and drink it’s really reasonably priced. We both had the homemade steak pie and it was delicious. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Superb home cooked food. Very busy pub on a wet Saturday afternoon in August but we were still offered a table for a couple of hours. Drinks, mains, desserts and a bottle of wine were gorgeous. Going back for sunday lunch..Highly recommended 👌

This is a very traditional English pub which has kept a certain old world charm . The service was excellent - polite , respectful and friendly . The food was really good - we had the fish and chips which was fresh with crispy batter . Followed by a very nice crumble .My only advice would be to improve little details like the chipped table mats .The pub is in a charming village and would really recommend .
