Thorntons at The Coffee Shop in Derbyshire Dales

We're moving to this area soon and we popped in here for breakfast before a house viewing. We loved the quirky external area (seating inside an old bus shelter) and the staff were absolutely fantastic in every respect. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Definitely the best breakfast we've enjoyed in a long time! It was great value too. This place is a local gem and we'll definitely be back when we move in!

Great for cyclists with drinks and food all at excellent prices - no frills but a warm welcome

Quirky little cafe. Food was nice. Definitely could do with a deep clean. Disappointed with the outside toilet. Yet again with a good clean, this would improve.

My partner and I enjoyed a breakfast cob and a pot of tea and it was lovely, very friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend

Lovely cafe only had a cup of tea the lady that served us was very accommodating as it was nearly closing time sat outside in the bus stop. Had a quick look at menús very reasonably priced food hope to visit again and will certainly try the food.

We love this little cafe. It does brilliant breakfasts and lunches. We are veggie and love the vegan and vegetarian breakfast but there are also some meat alternatives. The prices are very reasonable, it's quirky and the staff are nice too.

Lovely little cafe, friendly service with good variety on the menu including vegetarian/vegan options. My breakfast cob (Derbyshire word for roll/bap/breadcake/barmcake :) was really nice and good value too

This place is amazing. I have a list of allergies as long as my arm and they really do cater for all. Delicious food, lovely friendly staff and dog friendly. Plus super cheap, do give them a visit, you won't regret it. Picture shows my half eaten mezze plate.

Very quaint and very old cafe, with "old time prices to match". Eat in or Takeaway, or eat in the old bus shelter. Great service.
