The food was good but the waitress was awful she slammed the drinks and food down on the table never smiled wouldn't visit again

Good food here but mixed feelings about staff. Miserable girl showed us our table and took drinks order. Smile it free... Young lad lovely took food order. Great food but the extraction fans need sorting. Could be amazing but isn't

We were told when booking that the earliest table would be 8.30 but on arrival there were plenty of empty tables. We were not shown to our table but pointed in the direction by one of the staff. Menus were on the table but had not had change to look before being asked if we were ready to order. We were then left for twenty minutes before being asked again. Nobody asked us after being served if the food was OK or if we wanted any more drinks. The food was lovely but our whole experience was let down by poor, disinterested service. No complimentary mints either with the bill!!

We visited for the first time this evening and my goodness the food is so so delicious!!Young team of serves who where very polite, friendly and accommodating who clearly work very hard!Highly recommended this place if you want great food with nice staff, we will definitely be returning again soon!

The food was absolutely beautiful but the service has really let it down. Food was fresh and presented absolutely beautifully.The service on the other hand, well... to begin with was brilliant but after the starter it started to go down hill. In the near 2 hours we were in the restaurant we only had one drink, no one asking if everything was OK, too interested going out for a smoke break, 20 minuets went by before we were even offered the bill, sitting there with empty plates.Think the staff need to be trained a bit more in hospitality as their attentiveness is non existent.Not what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant as advertised.Not how I expected to celebrate my anniversary.

A positive end to a very rainy day in Matlock.We arrived utterly soaked but despite the circumstances we really enjoyed ourselves.Special thanks to our waiter who confessed it was his first day but did a spectacular job, keep up the good work. Food was lovely, weather was miserable.

We came with to other couples on Satutday all celebrating Golden Weddings in 2021. The service and food were excellent and it was full. What impressed me was that the staff all worked for each other and they had no set tasks but filled in if there was a gap. Well done

Loved the restaurant. The food was amazing. The restaurant just opened after pandemic and few of the staff were on their first day of work. But they were doing their best to serve well in a busy restaurant. I Wish them all the best .

We visited for our 40th wedding anniversary with family and it was a lovely experience. Very attentive staff, amazing food and very comfortable surroundings. Definitely visit again.
