After coming from Ireland, at last real fish & chips. Unlike the frozen preformed & pre cooked 'fish' they serve over there. Mushy peas, gravy & beans not available in Eire either.

Visiting the local area and had this the first night of our stay. Without doubt the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. So good that I’m walking half an hour there and back to get it again tonight.

What a great Fish & Chip shop. The main fish and chips were the best we have eaten in the last few years. The batter was crunchy, but not greasy, and the chips were very good too. The owner was a nice guy too - very friendly! We'll definitely be back.

We were staying at the Old School House B & B, Uppertown, we were recommended to try the Wellington Street Fish shop. We found it quite easily, parked up and went in. Good selection on the menu and it was freshly cooked to order. Excellent and reasonable prices, would recommend you try it.
