We discovered this lovely tea room on one of our frequent holidays to Derbyshire, sadly it was closed on the day we tried to revisit last week. Maybe another time we shall find it open as it has a special memory for us.

Gorgeous tea room. Had soya latte & hubby had pot of tea. Both had toasted cinnamon fruit loaf.Decor is beautiful. Toilets clean. Friendly service. Couldn't fault it.

·

Lovely little tearoom. Enjoyed a huge pot of tea and cake. Good selection of cakes to choose from aswell as meals/ sandwiches from the menu. Felt quite cosy inside and can also sit outside.

·

Excellent service for both humans and dogs. Pot of tea provided 3mugs and the filter coffee was very good. Less than £4 is excellent value. Sat outside in the sun with 2 dogs who were provided with a large bowl of fresh cold water. Toilet is small but well signed and superbly clean. Didn't eat today but the cakes and scones looked appetising. Will definitely have to go back

Small Old English tea rooms. Service is excellent, despite being busy.Home made cakes looked amazing, unfortunately my expanding waistline prevented me from trying them. Free street parking available for 1hr. Large carpRk about 400 metres away. If you are looking for an afternoon tea or a quick bite to eat, then this is a place not too be missed.

Old style traditional café,serving traditional English fare of the best quality, specialty teas served in vintage China cups and a selection of home made cakes , all day breakfast is a must !!!!!!!. A firm favourite of locals and tourists alike, staff were friendly and polite host's , and made a real effort to accommodate our requests for non dairy products , prices were good for a tourist area. The cooked breakfast was large and cooked fresh to order and the bacon and sausage were good quality, plus it was served on ultra clean hot plates ,, always a nice touch I will return as I'm sure many people do. Recommend for the serious breakfast enthusiast.

The fruit tea is fantastic, loose with a strainer. Good value and tasty cakes.

·

Lovely little cafe. All staff were happy and friendly. They provided our dog with a bowl of water. The food was excellent and more than what we expected with a little side salad for our sandwiches. We will definitely be back.

·

Egg was average, a bit tasteless. Good amount of salmon. Nicely decorated. I still would recommend it.

·

The best cream tea in the district ... I speak not from full experience on that or id be as big as a house but their scones are amazing and the prices and service impeccable, we love it x
