Stopped here after a walk in the Bardney area. It was busy, but they managed to accommodate some walk-ins. We were out in the marquee. Our table had beef rib with salad and burger and buttered veg. We started with hummus, this was definitely homemade. Tasted good, but would have preferred a bit wetter, maybe some more oil would have helped.Main course was cooked beautifully, and the vegetables were tender and tasty. Would definitely recommend

We stayed here for a few nights for a friend's wedding nearby and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Food and service were both excellent. A very comfortable stay.Staff also went above and beyond when I actually tore my dress due to wear to the wedding that day. They quickly rallied around and repaired it by hand. Saved the day!

Overnight stay 25-26/5/22. Accommodation was excellent, comfy bed and pillows, lovely towels. There were small hessian bags with toiletries in for you which was a nice touch. Had a meal on the night which again was excellent, large portions and the breakfast was the same. There is a lovely garden to sit in and the owner has had some beautiful wood carvings made including a statue of Adam n Eve which is about 15 ft tall, beautiful. Staff were lovely and attentive and had time to chat. Would def revisit. Luv to Esme ❤️ Thanks Lyn & Gary

Weeks holiday with our parents and two dogs. Found this place on our first day and went back twice more! Food is fabulous and between us we tested quite a lot of the menu. Big portions. Dog friendly - can take dogs into the bar area. Parking on site too.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. The food was lovely but it seems to be of varying degrees of quantity.I had the vegetarian risotto which was lovely and very filling, there was also the Adam burger, the gammon and the steak on the table which all had full plates but my partner ordered the braised beef which, whilst delicious and beautifully presented, wasn't very filling. It definitely needs more vegetables on the plate, or even a side of vegetables. There was also a strip of flickering lights above our table which was very distracting. The person with the steak also wasn't given a steak knife but didn't realise until the end of the meal after we'd pointed it out to them (after they had valiantly struggled to cut through their entire steak with a regular knife). The staff were very friendly and attentive and I couldn't fault them. We will definitely be coming back.My partner has asked me to note that it would be great if they could add cheesecake to the dessert menu.

Food was trash , fish and chips had bones and skin still on. The burger had some form of pulled gammon which tasted like dog food also it was covered with hard cheddar cheese. We came in with work clothes which made us invisible for most of the time there. (Seemed they prefer to serve the locals or the ones of higher class first).Best experience was using there toilets which where clean and well looked after.

5 star.. We are so lucky to have such a beautifully renovated Bar/ Restaurant close to the city of Lincoln. The head Chef has award-winning Michelin star quality in his deliverance of mouthwatering dishes presented. The team always welcome you with a smile and friendliness.. Last night Rosie and her restaurant team made us all feel so welcomed and nothing was too much trouble The bar was incredibly busy, however, the high volume of traffic didn't dampen Paddy and his bar team in executing a swift and efficient service.. The premises is decorated to a very high standard, a mix of vintage and modern.A bonus to the evening was live entertainment which to we're phenomenalThank you for giving us such a warm welcome and a incredible evening

Really friendly and attentive staff. Happened to be the first day with a new chef and menu. Food was amazing, tasted good and portion size was plentiful. My daughter and I had the Plate of pork, which was just divine. Husband had the Cumberland Sausage, which he reports was very, very good. We definitely plan to return in the future.

We’ve just eaten at the Adam and Eve (Friday afternoon). We arrived just after 3pm but the landlord accommodated us despite the kitchen closing at 3pm. The food was excellent (we had the steak ciabatta and the club sandwich) the kids portions were brilliantly generous and delicious - very welcome to our two hungry children! Pub decor is super too with a fab garden. We will definitely be returning very soon!

Stayed there last Saturday night while we went to wedding up the road. Lovely place, nice staff and a great breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.
