Great food and a good pint and the staff are very good.

After a weekend in Mablethorpe, we wanted something less 'mass produced'. What a find. For a last minute Sunday afternoon find, this was the place to be. The food was outstanding. One of us has a diary intolerance and the Chief came out to help with the selection and change anything that could be changed to give a wider veraity of options. Everything tasted great and was all a good price. Thank you everyone at the Axe & Cleaver!

Our visit to this pub was very welcoming from the minute we entered the bar, the food was fresh and very enjoyable the price was very reasonable and because it was my 30th birthday the barman said the pint of Guinness was on the house which I must add was a very nice pint to wash down with my meal.The barstaff and cooks were a delight, very chatty and bubbly. They were a pleasure to be around, this is definitely a place we will be visiting again and would recommend that you give it a go.

I have to say this is really one of the best places not only for the great service, but the food is fantastic. My partner is gluten free, lots of choice and staff were excellent as chef came and ensured that we were catered for with options not on the menu..visit here you wouldn't be disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious and the service excellent, really friendly little pub. Visited as a family, made to feel welcome.

Visited on a Saturday evening, having booked a table for six. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was unbelievably good. Recommend the mixed grill, rack of ribs and the steak and Guinness pie. Triple cooked chips were tasty. This place has certainly provided great food, good service and the price was right.

This is an amazing pub. It’s the best in the area, and the beer is amazing. the staff are so friendly and polite and what’s more they’re extremely helpful. We didn’t try the food here but I have heard so many people say how fantastic it is. If you want amazing food amazing people and an amazing place to visit this is the one for you

This place has recently been taken over. Nothing wrong with the food at all. Photo shows a mixed grill. A surf and turf and a childs portion of chicken gougons.

The best meal I've had in a long time, staff friendly and polite food great value for money , big portions as.you can.see., the mixed grill cooked perfectly. 10000% I would.recomend

Had a great evening meal here. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, atmosphere in the pub was great. Food was served quickly, very tasty and very generous portions. The mixed grill was beautiful with real homemade chips. Would definitely return.
