Durham Ox in East Lindsey

Unfortunately, I don’t understand the 5 star reviews people have been giving this place. The food was of poor quality and had no flavour. Although the staff were friendly and nice, the food… was not

Stopped here on the way back from the coast and wasn't disappointed, although we hadn't booked, we were found a table .the Sunday lunch was excellent the roast beef was cooked to perfection. If your passing it's definitely worth a visit

Excellent food, very nice staff and a cosy atmosphere. I had the burger which was one of the nicest I have had. The beef quality was superb. Both my partner and friend were really happy with their meals. We were all full up. Good portion sizes.

We recently spent a week on holiday in Lincolnshire. One of the highlights was finding this EXCELLENT pub/restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, very friendly. The food was really good, so much so that we booked again straight away. Thank you for your hospitality.

One of the best pub restaurant I ever ate in. Good choice of different ethnic food and pub favorites. Great service and helpful staff. A good selection of beer and ales. The price are reasonable, book ahead for good table. Easy to find. Well lighted. Large car park.

After a few average Sunday dinners on our Sundays out I decided to let the Boss lady pick our next stop and she picked a winner with the Durham Ox.A great pub with bags of character and charm and great staff to.Not a massive Sunday dinner menu but that's what you want, just do a few things but do them well.Two of us had the beef, one had the meat pie and the other had the fish.All four meals was excellent, the Beef was proper beef not the cheap stuff that just crumbles up after 3 hours in the oven.The pie was a proper pie with a crunchy crust and the fish dish packed loads of flavour. On our travels around Lincolnshire this is the best Sunday dinner we've had by a long way, well done to all at the Ox.My only suggestion would be a couple more options on starters my favourite is pate and would love to see it on there on our next visit.......

An excellent local village pub restaurant we visited twice as it was so good. We had a great Cow Pie, Barnsley Chop and Fish & Chips plus raspberry cheesecake (not all on the same visit!).

Evening meal, with parents. Welcomed at the door by friendly staff, wearing masks. Sat us at our table. Ordered our meals, duck and Barnsley lamb chop. The meal was delicious, mind you the chop was huge Dad just managed to finish it. Definitely go again and have recommended to friends.

Very good service and dealing with the covid threat very well. The food was excellent great choice and good vegetarian options. Portions are large and well presented. As an added bonus they had Adam's Ghost Ship on tap. Will definitely visit again.
