Lovely relaxed pub and great food. Really enjoyed chilling outside

Lovely place to eat with great staff.Very prompt serviceI had the sliced lamb with new potatoes and veg. The lamb was superb with no fat at all. The veg was perfect - neither crunchy or mushy. Husband had the steak in ale pie which he said was to die for. We finished off with a huge helping of Apple crumble which again was fantastic. 10 out of 10 to the Chef. Will definitely return.

Great food and lovely outside area for kids to play and tables to eat at. This was our third visit and still enjoying different items on the menu and selection cider in the sun outside

Lovely, good old fashioned pub! Great food and lovely atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and had lots of treats for our dogs, who were also made to feel very welcome! Will definitely go again.

Food was lovely and the service was amazing. I will recommend this place to everyone especially if you have dogs.

Great food, I had Scampi , super generous sized portion with peas and salad as sides and lots of chips. My other half had steak pie, very generously filled with god quality beef. Nice shortcrust Pastry. Not far from kinema in the woods.

Lovely meal out with friends. Good choice on the menu & all reasonably priced. The mixed grill was huge!!! Really enjoyed ourselves & for a mid week night out we did not feel pressured to leave when we had finished. We will be back as great food & made to feel really welcome 😊

Beautiful country pub with good parking. Outside seating for drinks and food. Made a reservation in the morning for a table for lunch and I'm glad we did, as it filled up quickly and the two waiting staff were very busy!I had a ploughman's and my son had a mixed grill, both meals were excellent and we couldn't fault them. I'm sure we will be back soon!
