We sat outside, the food was delicious and the service very friendly. Inside is a really lovely art gallery and a shop where you can purchase a variety of food items to takeaway. All within a minutes walk from the beach. I'd definitely recommend it!!

What a great spot! Nice walk along the seafront to stop for a coffee and lunch, breakfast, or quick bite whilst seated at the tables outside (under cover), with our dog (waterbowl available for thirsty puppies). They were very helpful and happy to accommodate my gluten-free request, although no mention on the blackboard menu. We will definitely visit again and look forward to seeing the bigger summer menu.

Phenomenonal fish and chips. It was fresh and not swimming in grease. The mocha was also delicious and they had a yummy range of cakes, jams & spreads. The ladies at the cafe were lovely and friendly. We had great fun watching all the dogs coming and going whilst waiting for our food. Parking was also super easy, if there isn't a spot on site there is plenty of on road parking too.The perfect cafe, with the perfect food in the perfect spot. Would certainly go back again. If you are in the area you have to visit!

What a perfect spot for a tray of fish and chips! The batter was light and so crisp and the homemade tartar sauce hit just the right spot on an October lunchtime as did the mug of tea.Wandering inside it was nice to meet and chat to Catherine the artist behind much of the art and craft on display. There is a lovely vibe to this bistro and so nice that we could sit outside under cover with our dogs.I can very much recommend a visit here.I am looking forward to finding a space in my house for the beautiful print of the local area.Clare Unwin

Such an amazing cafe with tasty food & gorgeous artwork by Catherine who was working there. Very friendly and accommodating, so glad we found the fat seagull! Dog friendly also with a cosy terrace. Highly recommend ☺️

This place looked lovely when we first pulled up. However, it was a grey, windy day and the only seating was outside. Had to go in to order...not a problem, but was disappointed with the lack of choice on the blackboard menu. Was quite amazed too that the cod and chips was a £1 cheaper than the scampi 🤔. The drinks arrived first and was surprised they were in takeaway paper cups. Then the food arrived. I thought it was delicious but, again, wasn't happy it was served up in a cardboard takeaway container with a wooden fork - had to go in to request a knife to cut the fish🙈.In summary the food was very nice, the people serving were pleasant and friendly but I felt the prices were rather inflated for the type of facilities provided. A larger cake choice would have been good too👍 .

Very friendly place with excellent staff. Food was tasty and at a good price, much needed after a day on the coast. There is a large selection of food and gifts in the Deli, and we also very much appreciated the art on show in the shop - some stunning pictures.Would very much recommend for food, drink, a rest, and some lovely gifts for home.Thank you for making us feel welcome.

I told the nice lady behind the bar, that their Fish&Chips was the best I had so far in UK. I was serious about it :) Came back a day later, and it was equally good, so it was not an accident. Good food, fair prices, friendly staff. Loved it!

Fantastic little cafe/bistro/art gallery/gift shop/deli counter. The list is endless, this place has something for everyone. We both had the Ploughman's platter and it was amazing, using all locally sourced fresh produce. We initially felt bad when we realised that it was the middle of tennis week in Sandilands when we arrived for lunch and ordered our Ploughman's, but nothing was too much trouble for these consummate professionals. Keep up the excellent work during these hard times, I know not everyone appreciates what your doing but we definitely do, looking forward to returning in the next few weeks.
