What I'd call a builders cafe. Perfect if you love good hearty grub for an unbeatable price.

No frills but excellent food served by friendly staff. £2 for a mug of tea and either a sausage, a bacon or an egg bap. I also tried the braised steak with mash n peas. Very tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating

We have been in here for a coffee, since our arrival on holiday this week, coffee, although instant is lovely and cheap at the price, no Costa prices here, and you get a mug , hubby had their pork and apple sauce bap and turkey and stuffing bap, honestly, for the money, you cannot go wrong, delicious staff are friendly and welcomingand food came out quickly, we saw other meals come out and looked delicious and prices were amazingl.well done staff and owners, you can also tell the locals go here and support them

Inpatient workers i asked fir the toilet and all they said was yes down the corridor... Do not come here and i will never come back...

Great value for money you can even take your dog in as long as it's well behaved

Eaten here many times, and not had a bad meal yet, great food, and friendly people.Can thoroughly recommend having a meal here

If you are interested in the food rather than what the place looks like, it was good. Not a place for Mrs Bucket/Bouquet! The food was nice and exceptional value. Allows dogs.

Came here last year and was brilliant. Came today ordered egg and chips and sausage mash peas and gravy with 2 teas and paid for them. When meal arrived the egg was black. There were no peas and no teas. It was disgusting and we walked out and won't be back.Many thanks to staff at matador cafe who looked after me when I became ill. Can't thank them enough

Excellent Breakfasts! Can't go wrong cheap & cheerful. Very simple on the inside but that's what to expect for the price. It was clean and staff were very quick. Will definitely return in the future!

Fantastic guys serving, we came looking for a bacon bap/cob and where surprised to see they did a bacon cob/sausage cob deal with a drink for a mere £2! We didn't expect much for £2, but we where wrong, we went with 2 bacon cobs and a sausage one and they when they came out, they where MASSIVE!! We are so impressed for what we got for £6, they could easily have charged double and we still would have been impressed!! We WILL come again!!
