Food tasted wonderful. The flavour of individual vegetables, meats gammon, beef or turkey and even the gravy was superb. Was able to book a table, no problem, got very busy very soon after 5pm,.glad we booked. Ambience was perfect for all. We'll done everyone.

Lovely place, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff!Plenty of room to eat and drink.Although only been here once, the Sunday Roast was tasty and perfectly cooked, and is one of the best so far!I will comment further if I get a chance to go back 😊

We had a very pleasant family meal here on a busy Easter Sunday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The carvery was excellent. The meats were very tasty and well cooked and there was a great selection of well cooked fresh vegetables. My grandson especially enjoyed the carvery calzone pizza.

We were in Louth for 4 days and we came to the Jug and Bottle on our first day. The meals were amazing. Very tasty, fabulous friendly staff and great value for money. Our Foster son loved the pizza and our grandson loved the children's meals. It was so good that we went there for 3 out of our 4 days. We will be back in August when we are in Louth again.

Had very good carvery meal here. Choice of different sizes/ prices, med £7.49. 3 choices meats, lots veg. disappointment ,although not for me, Yorkshire puds not homemade. However staff kindly offered and made me my own gluten free gravy ,not anything on menu GF that I could see. It's still an issue when eating out , unfortunately.Restaurant clean and friendly ,family restaurant.

Stopped off here en route to my holiday home. We'd booked a table and were greeted by a friendly member of staff. Escorted to our table too. The decor is standard pub decor with nothing to excite. Food is good quality and reasonably priced. At the carvery there was gammon, turkey and beef. I opted for the turkey which was delicious. The portion size was generous and you help yourself to veg. Staff are very courteous and attentive. I'd recommend dining here as we have been here a few times now. The standard is consistent.

Sorry no photos as it was downed in minutes . Delicious. Very good quality and cooked to perfection despute bring unbelievably busy. Queues massive but well done topped up often. no negatives only personal but you used to serve mushy peas . Please bring them back. 🙏. Though well done as everyone had a smile on their face despite the number of people xx

All round fantastic experience from start to finish. Have visited twice now, and both times have had excellent service. I am currently on a dairy free diet due to baby's allergies, and both times whilst ordering we were asked about any allergies. The first visit they walked us through what I could and couldn't eat from the carvery, and then made different gravy. So on today's visit, I knew what I could eat straight away. Clean, family friendly, allergy aware, good choice for vegetarians too.My daughter said the fish was the best she's ever had. Everyone left full and happy, which is a great feat for a family meal.

The carvery looked and tasted good, unfortunately if you don't want it everything else on the menu has to be cooked fresh and I don't think they're able/want to. The chicken was dry, the beefburgers cheap and bland, the chips are low quality, the bacon was precooked and tough, the 'salad' just iceberg and tomato, the garlic buttered dough sticks tasted of nothing, and they were out of fish (although it likely would've been frozen and bland). On the plus side the portions were big and the restaurant was very warm, and if you have allergies you can consult their website before you go.Top Tip: Only order the carvery.

Had a carvery today which was very nice and filling, I maybe didn’t present the food to its best as I piled it on.The apple pie and custard were also very nice. Service was good with frequent clearing and cleaning of tables
