Linga Longa in East Lindsey

Fish and chips lovely..highly recommended.

Always visit when in skegness, closed when we was there in June and September, wonder if they’ll open again or are they closed for ever - a good idea would be for the owners to clarify things by adding details to the closed sign in the window, simples innit.

Been going to linga longa for many years when at Skegness and always made a point of getting a fish n chips then off to the top to eat well this year we did the usual but to my disappointment the batter was slight burnt too crispy and I could not eat it all. The mushy peas fell out of the carton in a solid lump. Needless to say won't be going there again.

Came to skegness for the first time and had fish and chips from this place.i thought I was at the circus there was people running around behind the counter with what looked like washing up bubbles trying to smash each other in the face,not very professional half the staff had no mask and the food was poor.the peas have never seen mushy just a lump of dry green mess I won't be eating here again and wouldn't have given any stars but had to so I could post,dnt eat here plz save ur money

Been coming to the Linga longa for 50 years, since the brilliant holidays I had as a child at the Derbyshire Miners Holiday Camp. Visited Winthorpe 3 weeks ago and the food from here was still excellent. Winthorpe Avenue has lost many of its shops, the joke shop, clothes shop, the Dunes, thankfully the linga longa is still here, so sorry to see the fire you had while were staying nearby, hope all the staff were ok.The negative reviews on here are so petty!!!

This was a super convenient option as we were staying at Skegness Sands Caravan park. A few minutes walk and well worth it. Welcoming friendly staff producing and serving lovely fish and chips. Generous portions, crisp batter, not too oily, just very tasty. We had cod and haddock - both excellent. No wonder it came so highly recommended to us by some locals we met in the neighbouring pub.

Was the best chippy for us until one time we went and the order was wrong. The lady who works there obviously writes the orders down wrong and when you ring up you just get the bloke that disagrees with everything you say....when you have ordered for four people but end up with 3 meals then yes it is your doing. This has been happening just recently as funny how a few other people has said they had the same happen to them days after we went in. If anyone lives a car journey away then I suggest you check what's been given to you before you leave. You do not want to get back home or caravan etc like someone else did and had two starving disappointed children.

Great food, decent value. Staff a bit rude though hence 3 stars. Would have been 5 if I'd got a hello and a smile.

Perfect chippy for the weary traveller. A short walk down the side street offers quite a vista in the right weather :-)

Quality food at a sensible price. Very popular with tourists. Would recommend to others.
