Magpies in East Lindsey

My wife and I enjoyed a really lovely meal, all 3 courses were great. The setting is nice and relaxed and a real treat after the restrictions of COVID. A very good menu and as you can't order everything the 1st time I guess we'll have to go again, looking forward to it!

Food is good and presented really nicely. Service is cold and seems like it's rushing with little friendly interactions. The decor and design layout of this restaurant is where it falls greatly. I feel like I am having dinner in a hospice cafe. Cheap furniture. Grandma style curtains, wallpaper, fake flowers, no music playing. The atmosphere is null. For the price and luxe this restaurant claims to provide I want the service and experience to reflect that not just the food.

The rooms are really well presented & to a very good standard. The shower was amazing ! I would definitely stay here again. I can't comment on the food in the restaurant, however the breakfast (which was included in the price) was lovely & good quality food used !

Fantastic place to stay. Reasonable prices. Lovely and clean inside with comfy beds. Great for dogs too and near to all of the beach! Would definitely be booking on again.Thank you for a wonderful stay

I stayed last night. A very nice room. The lady who checked me in was absolutely lovely. When I said I would be leaving before breakfast she offered to put blueberry pancakes in my room for me. I attended a wedding and upon return they were in my room waiting for me. The room was immaculate and I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you

We had dinner here but did not stay as we live locally so can only ly review the restaurant. Quite simply very good food, which is really what matters in a restaurant! We had three courses and all was very well cooked, flavours were excellent and were presented nicely. Our wine was good and not too expensive and the service was polite and friendly. Decor was cottagey, there is parking outside and it is very easy to find. We shall certainly return and highly recommend it.

Fabulous food. Comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Roof terrace for guests. Surrounded by antique shops and NT properties and an easy drive to the sea. Excellent value. I've visited twice and will go again!

A wonderful meal with fabulous flavours, excellent wine and great service. I had tempura sea bass as a starter and cod for my main. In both dishes you could taste the beautifully balanced ingredients. Fine dining at its best. Recommended.
