Marine Boathouse in East Lindsey

Honestly wished I never stepped in. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Staff ignoring customers at the bar. The Carvery, where do I even start? The roast potatoes are hard, the meat dried out, the vegetables were that dry they had gone white and crinkled, the gravy had a layer over the top, and the Yorkshire puddings were soggy! You could tell it had all been left there all day. Not even much choice either!Walking around the restaurant there’s food all under the floor, tables not wiped and very over priced

Absolutely disgusting. The Chef/Cook cannot cook food to a decent standard. The food quality is poor and the attitude of their staff is equally as poor.It is lacking leadership and requires significant improvement.I would NOT recommend others to waste their money on poor quality food & service at the Marine Boat House Bar.The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah would not recommend going anywhere near this place at all.AVOID ANYWAY YOU CAN!!!My kids have got Snapchat and they've been telling me how they've seen something about how people are saying they use meat or anything off of the carvery people haven't eaten on the plates they've used gets put back on the carvery, reheated and served to other costumers.So on Saturday I decided to pay a visit... I DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING SO NO WORRIES ABOUT FOOD POISONING! But I did look at the menu and my god it's way way too overpriced and don't even get me started on the arrogant, entitled, stuck up staff. God they don't half need sorting. Honestly if I was a local and thank god I'm not by the way but if I was I wouldn't think twice about finding somewhere else.... let's be honest there's a thousand better options.Feel free to screenshot this and Share it about Facebook or other social media sites.THE MARIE BOATHOUSE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN!

Don't get me wrong the food and drinks aren't bad at all or the pub itself, it's just the staff. I went in on Saturday afternoon for football and a drink and all but one member of staff were sat one their arse at end of bar having drinks while on shift.

We had the carvery here it was really good fresh veg. The lady in charge was lovely, she was training a young man and she was so patient and giving him praise, I would definitely like her to teach my kids. The whole place was clean and welcoming definitely use this place again when in Skegness .

Price on A board outside offered carvery at certain price order 2 carvery charged different to advertising said that was price for week day not Sunday's. Asked for beef and turkey to be told only paid for 1meat not mentioned prices more for 2when paying.Meal was Luke warm .Had to move table as table top wobbly. All the tables needed good clean and floor swept.In the time it took us to eat not single person. Cleared anything away.

We hired the function room for a Memorial Day it was great and with pleasant service, buffet was lovely...staff was amazing and room was superb with nothing to small to do from all at the Marine Boathouse thank you very much

Had good meal .only just fit on the plate . Only complaint no garden peas for my Mrs dinner

Good sized portions. Came fresh and fast. Friendly service and seemed clean. Fish and chips was huge and tasted great. Mac and cheese was great and the gammon meal as well. Also had the steak sandwich cant remember exact name but odd mix but nice. Highly recommend the halloumi top notch to share.Went back for breakfast next morning. Good portions sizes, quick service, tasty food. Overall really nice atmosphere calm, friendly and inviting. Would highly recommend. Full credit to the staff they were more than helpful on both occasions. Right in town centre makes it easy access and fun to get a window seat and watch the chaos outside.

Came to skegness for a family weekend away, jumped into this place for some breaky as it was the first restaurant we came across after parking up first thing in the morning.When we came to order we was told that they couldn't make a simple bacon sandwich (even thought they served breakfast with bacon on and bread) found this very annoying and it was such a simple request.When it came to order drinks the coffee was cold and didnt taste very nice, my partner asked for a coke zero which they had behind the bar in bottles, but was told she could only have what came out of the tap, so she settled for a normal coke whick was flat as a pancake.We ordered 4 portions of jam on toast as this is what the kids wanted, it all came on one plate and after asking for a few extra plates so the kids could spead the butter and jam, they never actually turn up.Overall the experience was not very good at all and we definitely will not be coming back. The staff were not very help full at all and didnt seem to want to be working here.If I could rate zero stars i would have.
