After reading the reviews I thought yes we should try here as not had carvery for long while I phoned to see if I needed to book but was advised to come early as only the two of us. And we did and received a very warm welcome including Milo the Dog told can order from the table, I'm not the biggest eater and opted for chicken/pork and he had beef which was all cooked excellent personal choices of vegetables and he managed a treacle/custard desert even after large meal the very best part was the Community of regular Customers meationed by name was delightful

Very friendly pub.Great place to go, lots of wheelchair access, nice old dog behind the bar.Good selection of beer.Real good cloth on the pool table, nicely lit and a thriving pool team.Highly recommended and lots of parking too!The decor is absolutely spot on and it's a nice clean welcoming pub for passers by.

Really nice pub, nice menu, Sunday lunch lovely, often sell out, so don't just take my word.

I have been here 3 times now and all I can say is wow. Very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. The food is outstanding and is the best I have had in Louth by far. Would recommend to all.

1st visit . Went for Sunday carvery. Made welcome moment we walked in .food was excellent with generous portions. Roast beef was cooked perfectly. Great value for money5 star food and 5 star service from staffWe will be going again . I highly recommend that you try it

We had our wedding reception here last week and we couldn't of wished for more. Everyone at the pub were so lovely, the food was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. The room we had at the back of the pub was decorated so beautifully and made us feel so special. Thank you so much!

Cannot fault the food, service and price. Really excellent. First time we tried the place and we were not disappointed in any way.
