New Delight House in East Lindsey

Love this place use for year can never get them on the phone but very quick if you go a pick up food is the bestUpdate April 2022 had two bad Chinese over the last couple of months chip been re-cooked not good.

Had special curry, mushroom rice, king prawn in tomato and 2 pancake rolls and it was absolutely fabulous!! So tasty and beautifully cooked. Well done and thank you. Can't recommend highly enough!

I don't know why we use this takeaway, we were joking about them getting the order wrong as this has happened on many occasions whats the point in having a menu because they send what they like! We will not be using them again

The best Chinese I have ever had , staff are great , chicken balls are amazing , salt and chilli chips are the best

Food always good, although we live in Mablethorpe so delivery service can sometimes take time and not always hot when it arrives. Need a quick microwave. The portions are good, prices are average.

We love the food from this Takeaway, its probably the best Chinese cuisine in the area BUT recently their delivery policy has been an issue. We are in Hogsthorpe and have ordered our Chinese deliveries from here for the last 6 years. Now we have just been told trying to order tonight that they no longer deliver in Hogsthorpe , as it is too far. Why the change? They said there have been complaints that the food is too cold when it arrives. We have never had cold food, but wouldn't complain if it was a bit cool as living in the sticks you just stick the oven on ready to pop it in. I suspect the dodgy delivery firm they have hired is at the root of the new policy, as the second to last delivery I nearly had a stand up fight on our drive as the Cockney wideboy who was delivering that night tried to extort another 3 quid on top of the standard £5 delivery charge at the time. If he was doing this to all customers outside of the Sutton area then he was coining it in. Needless to say he was told to either drop the food off or slope back to where he come from. I don't mind paying for delivery at the agreed rate. Any way, its a shame that the New Delight owners have been swayed by the cowboy drivers working for them - I will miss the excellent food, but not the aggro, and I am sure they will miss the revenue in the winter months when their tourist customer base drops!

One of the best takeaways we've ever had. Food was hot and extremely tasty. Plenty of it . Would definitely recommend it.

Just had sweet and sour chicken king prawn chop suey fried rice and prawn crackers. The chicken was inedible as it was still pink, the king prawn had 4 prawns and the rest of the dish was carrot and beansprouts no flavour at all. Do not go

Feel I have to share this, but I was very annoyed on Saturday 28th 2021 with the lady who took our order, sorry this abnoxious woman who at 6.30pm took my order and money for a takeaway to which I said we will collect at 8.15pm as we wanted to have a couple of drinks. No problem until 8.15pm when we went to collect our order and found out with no apology whatsoever that she had forgot to hand the request to the chefs, only i have been busy with everyone's else's order. She said I could wait about 30 minutes but I explained I had a taxi booked for 8.30pm, I said can u deliver it to our caravan to which she replied it will be approx 2 hrs wait. I asked her to do it now as I had ordered it at 6.30pm to which she replied too busy. I asked for my money back which she gave back. But I was so annoyed that she would not admit she forgot to put the order through to the kitchen. We use this takeaway regular as we come most weekends but not anymore.

Food was vile got spare ribs dry and they were brown and dry. Got beef curry didn’t taste like curry very dark brown. Got chicken egg fried rice curry sauce was dark brown didn’t taste like curry sauce. And the chicken was burnt. Also got chicken and chips chicken was very dry. Chips was nice. Not sure if new ownership but never had food like this before and lost our custom.
