New Inn in East Lindsey

We had a very good meal last night, excellent chicken liver pate. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Just had a lovely evening meal for a couple at the New Inn we had been a lot of times in the past with previous owners, Julie and the young lady serving (sorry didn't get your name) where excellent,smiley and very welcoming,we had some excellent white wine and I had a lovely starter liver pate,and we both ordered the serlion steaks with lovely hand cut chips,field mushroom,tomato and extra onion rings very tasty Indeed, followed by a sweet, a very good New York cheese cake with passion fruit sauce and ice cream,a very small issue with my steak,which was corrected very quickly and professional with fantastic customer service from the two ladies,we enjoyed the atmosphere and will be returning soon.Many thanks to all.Ps , Just a tip maybe offer the customers some water,

Had some take out fish and chips last week which would have been lovely if fried in different oil! Dark brown and tainted taste. Change the oil or different one and will be back!

Had been a long time ago nice to see the decor has had a upgrade the menu has also been upgraded what let it down for me was the service very long waiting time between ordering and between course's poor presentation on the table by the serversThe table access was poor too as the staff where pushing though 2 chairs on opposite tables to get through to other tablesDrinks and table clearance was poorRestaurant not full but staff did not seam to be able to manage the amount of covers they hadMight have been a staffing problem (illness) new staff etc would recommend but with other local pubs offering very similar menu's I'd probably try them before returning myself

Been for Mother’s Day with my family today and couldn’t of had a better experience. All of us enjoyed our starters, mains and puddings. The service is also great, the ladies who work there are so warm and friendly

Great food choice and great quality with good sized portions. Very friendly and courteous staff. I'll certainly be eating their again when in the area.

We booked a table of 9 last night for a double birthday celebration at The New Inn. We didn't manage to eat unfortunately due to a circuit board issue in the kitchens however these 3 stars are given for the amazing and slightly flustered lady delivering the news to the diners. After two false calls that we could dine, she had to come back a third time to say actually it's not possible. I think I'd of hid in the toilet crying if it was me but she remained professional and polite in difficult circumstances. Possibly Lorraine? Floral top.

Really like the decor change since we last came.Service great girls very attentive and our order was out in no time.Food was very well presented and cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Will definitely be coming back soon.
