Excellent food, full of taste and the presentation was lovely. Great service and friendly staff with sensible prices. Good isn't cheap and cheap isn't good but this place just bucks the trend with great quality food. Well done.

Totally over priced. We ordered home delivery checking the price of our meal on their website. When it came the meal was a lot more which we questioned. The delivery driver said that was the old menu prices, to which I replied you should have updated it so customers know. The driver was quite hostile and wouldn't accept our point of view or let us have the meal at the ' old ' cost as a goodwill gesture. I star is way more than they deserve. The best Indian bar none is The Goa. Sadly they're temporarily closed, that's the reason we ordered from the Saffron. Never again

Ordered 2 x chicken naga, keema rice, boiled rice, chips and keema nan. Drove back to Mablethorpe and realised they had given us 2 x chicken nuggets, 3 x chips, keema rice and keema nan. Who orders chicken nuggets from an Indian? Really disappointed

Whilst in the area I ordered a takeaway which I must say was one of the worst I’ve ever had! King Prawn Korma consisted of four prawns two of which were inedible as were so chewy and tough. The naan was undercooked and more or less dough. Very disappointing as I’d checked reviews which is a worry if this is Skegness’s finest!

Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor as we're visiting the area. The service was brilliant and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for first class Indian food.

Went in an ordered takeaway. Waited 35 mins.. Walked over the road home.. Food was cold.. Garlic rice was rice with a piece of garlic on top.. The murga massala had paneer in it.. The lamb shaslick was old tough meat and just onions no flavour.. The kemma nann was cold and looked reheated... Chips however were tasty and poppadoms were nice. For the money we spent wouldnt recommended.. And yes we did call to complain but was told its all fresh.. So unfortunately would not recommend.

Came with friends on a Saturday night. Very busy but excellent service. Food was lovely (can recommend the king prawn bhuna) although probably not ideal for people who think Indian should mean naga-chilli hot. Fantastic for us - dishes focus on flavour first and heat second.

We have used Saffron as our regular local takeaway for several years, and always found both the food and the service second to none. The manager thanked us personally several times for continuing to support his business immediately after lockdown restrictions were eased. But today my regular custom was declined. I placed a telephone order just before 5.30pm for four onion bhajis and drove across from another local town. Then I noticed missed calls. I called the restaurant back, only to be informed that that I could not have my order as they were busy and might not have enough food. I literally had no words at the time to express my confusion. I popped into the near empty (busy?) restaurant and asked what the issue was. Nobody could offer any other explanation other than they were very busy and might not have enough food. Sadly it appears that loyal custom over several years counts for nothing with these people. I can only hope they remain 'busy'. We will never return to be treated so shabbily.
