My boyfriend and I visited as part of our break to Skegness, after a recommendation from a friend. We are SO glad we did. The food was beautiful, the ambience lovely, the service excellent and really reasonably priced. The portions are huge and they offer a takeaway service for anything you don't manage to finish.I had the mushroom starter followed by chicken and mushroom risotto; my boyfriend had the king prawns followed by tagliatelle with meatballs. I couldn't fault a single thing with either of our meals. The meatballs in particular were excellent - tasty, tender and beautifully seasoned.I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to go. It looks like they've had a face-lift since the last set of interior pictures - it's super cute now

Gorgeous food, very fresh. The place wasn't too busy when we went, but is usually swamped as it is so popular. The new extension they are working on looks stunning and will only help grow their popularity.

Friendly, very helpful staff, excellent selection of very tasty food, large portion sizes need I say more? The only down side was that we didn't get to try their desserts as we were all too full. Next time we will have to skip the starters so that we can try them. Can't wait to try them again.

Eaten here twice whilst staying in the area. Friendly service. Good food and good prices. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, superb flavours and quality, although portion sizes were rather large. Very good service. Slightly cramped seating - could probably do away with a couple of tables (perhaps 4 covers) so there is a little more space in between to allow easier access to seats without having to ask other diners to move.Has to be 5 stars, really, as 1/2 a star can't be deducted and it certainly wouldn't be a fair reflection to only give 4 stars.Overall, very, very good.

One of the nicest restaurants in Skegness. Delicious food and very generous portions. The calamari was delicious served with mayonnaise and salad. We also ordered a garlic bread as a side order, but it was huge! Thankfully the waiter let us take it home in a box.

I had booked a table for one for 8pm and when the girl behind the bar told the manger I had arrived he said to her "I'm busy you'll have to wait" so I got a drink and she sat me at some chairs by the door to wait. Another lady arrived who had also booked a table just for herself for half 8 so we sat chatting while we waited. The manger came over and said a table would be ready soon. Then a few minutes later he came back and said would we mind sitting together, which was fortunately fine by us as we had got on and we didn't mind, but not what you expect when you've booked a table, if they overbooked themselves thats not good. Our meals were actually very nice, great portions and the prices were reasonable. We shared a bottle of wine which was a litre for £16 so good value there too. The manger came over and refilled our glasses but he seemed quite abrupt as he was busy. I asked if I could get a free (after dinner) drink for my birthday and the manager agreed but didn't look happy about it. And I think I was overcharged by £6 but it was too late to question it when I'd left.

Delicious food, huge portion, friendly staff and prompt service. We had a fabulous meal there whilst on holidays. It's a very popular place indeed, so booking is essential.
