Very nice traditional cafe. Pleasant staff, clean , good home cooked food and a great cup of tea …..what more do you need from a cafe ? 😊

Nothing positive to say about our experience here I'm afraid. Food prepared with no care & of poor quality. We were so disappointed we actually raised a complaint with the chef. He was unpleasant in manner and clearly didn't consider an apology an appropriate response to our concerns. Lovely spot by the river, in all other respects dreadful.

Quirky coffee shop/eatery, friendly staff, smashing cuppa and a fruity warm scone

Service was rubbish, breakfast was very poor.. Poached egg was half raw (white sloppy) sausages tasteless and not cooked properly, not asked whether we wanted condiments and not asked whether we wanted anything else after the meal. My wife's bowl of soup was miniscule. Toast was nice though. Lol.. We won't be going back there again.

An absolutely delightful, charming and quirky tearoom in a lovely river location. The traditional fare on offer is consistently high quality, well-prepared and tasty with friendly, polite and efficient service. We have been coming here for many years whenever we visit Horncastle and we highly recommend The Bridge.

Friendly service with good observation of Covid safety. A straight forward menu but well prepared. Caters well for gluten free options.

Dog friendly: our dog was allowed indoors to sit with us while we ate our sandwiches and cake.Lovely staff and great home-produced food. The river isn't much to look at but you can watch the people of Horncastle (and other grockles like us) going about their business while you relax.
