Shocking service. The staff were rude & every bit of the order was wrong. The manager argued when a meal was missed off stating it wasn’t ordered but the cashier read the order back. Manager finally honoured the order when we said no receipt was given. Will not return.

The food here is not good value at all. I was disappointed by what I received and will never revisit or recommend.

Carvery is very nice, but the main food menu is massively overpriced. Rooms are nice and clean. No issues.

·

Rude and unhelpful staff. Ignored me when I stood at the bar, instead wanted to gossip with other staff members. Really poor customer service. What a shame when I am willing to spend my money on local businesses. Customer excellence training would not go amiss. I hope it improves before the holiday season gets going.

Totally had very little sleep due to the bed being very very uncomfortable. No food until 1st April. Not told when we booked. Been before and it was a lot better, won't be going again. Went to relax and have a good rest, feel more tired now than before we went

Dull and old fashioned environment. Felt like a church for some reason. Barmaid was quite abrupt just asking if they served food. Stayed for a watered down fosters then left.

·

Nice place for food and a drink. Wouldn’t recommend the fish and chips from here though - definitely not the type you expect at the seaside.

The bar staff were when arrived were lovely. Quick service with food and drink that was ordered. However when the food arrived the pie had been over cooked and was advised it had been cooked tho long in the microwave. This was replaced but was still just as bad and when we spoke to the manager she was not prepared help rectify the issue and said over over half of it had been eateg and It hadn't it had just had the crust moved to the side as this was no better then the first. The experience we have received has made us not want to return again .

Very nice food and fitted us in late in the evening when all other local places were turning us away as to busy. There was a limited menu as they had run out of some items but they did tell us before sitting down. The steak pie burgers and sausages were all very nice overall a great experience

So just had a four day stay here.. positives: gotta say was pretty impressed. We had a family room.. 2 bunk beds in there and a double bed.... the room size was perfect. A little but pricey tbh especially as no breakfast or anything included but tea and coffee was readily available in the room.. and if we ran out they were happy to provide extras. The food was decent.. only had one poor meal (and that was he scrambled egg I had for breakfast) was literally like cardboard. But they catered for my autistic son and his eating habits very very well so hats off to you for that. All staff were extremely pleasant and always will to help.Would happily stay again
