Nice, cosy pub with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks

I can't remember the last time I felt so welcome in a pub. We were having our 35 years reunion from joining the Royal Engineers. We were treated to excellent food, brilliant thoughtfulness, seriously outstanding place, I'm struggling to find the words...Thank you!

First time in since reopening last year and I was not disappointed. Fine selection of ales beer and larger and a great atmosphere that is really not seen in a 'local' pubs these days . Definitely will be visiting again on my way from the ' beaten tracks '

Stopped in for a drink today, lovely place, cosy, clean, looked recently decorated. staff were, great, really nice to us and our young son, good selection of beers. Recommend.

Great revamped boozer, chatty, friendly staff/manager, good selection of beers and hand pulled. I was parked overnight nearby and this town is a hidden gem as is this pub👌

Dropped in for a beer with my wife and two children, they very welcoming to us. The interior is decorated in a modern way and although we preferred to sit inside the pub has a big beer garden which looked to have a nice atmosphere.
