Had a meal here today and it was beautiful the welcome from everyone was perfect, the pub was fantastic very well kept would recommend a visit

A brilliant traditional pub I wish all pubs would keep the same theme going instead of going with the times and modernising. We need to remember the past. Great pub great staff and very friendly regulars.

Not a huge selection of beers away from thier own 3 pub brews no premium larger, or IPA etc.English food nice enough but not outstanding the curry was not so good served with more salad than curry. Food only served to 7:30pm on a Saturday if you haven't book don't bother loads of people turned away while we were there.

Lovely home cooked food and pleasant staff. Such a pity this restaurant, serving good, wholesome meals is not better supported, and the decision to close after the end of this summer is a real loss. It is leased and run separately from the actual pub area, where I believe there are strict and somewhat outdated rules regarding children, and this may have contributed to the lack of custom in the restaurant.

Lovely food and lovely staff. Will be recommending all our guests to go here, best pub in the area.

Had to book a table for Sunday Lunch.The food was gorgeous, plenty of it, lots of tasty gravy.Staff were friendly.Will be back when at our caravan in 2 weeks time👍

Excellent cooked food friendly staff n service I had the braised steak with maah and veg (fresh not frozen)very nice had chocolate fudge cake n salted caramel ice cream for dessert,wow they was both amazing
