One of those lovely little country pubs, with traditional friendly service. Great Sunday Lunch, home made so a little bit more expensive than your pub chains, but very much enjoyed and superior quality. The vegetarian choice was also tried and was apparently very nice.Would I go again. Definitely.

Staff are friendly and attentive, food was excellent. We didn't feel rushed to finish our meals and move on like some places we have eaten. Definitely going again

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed visiting and having some well prepared and particularly tasty traditional pub food. The staff are helpful, polite and most accommodating. I'd recommend booking in advance.

Just returned home after an excellent meal with friends. All three of us had something different off the main menu and couldn't fault the quality of the food. Tremendous value for money, the food was tasty and piping hot. We received friendly service from Jodie, the newest member of staff. Altogether a lovely meal out and we'll definitely be back.

A beautiful village pub that has leapt out of its past and embraced the present, great decor, great ambience, good choice of beers, amazing choice of many coloured and flavoured gins, this is a great food restaurant, the simplified lunch time menu is good fayre at a reasonable price and good sized portions, I had the steak pie and mash, with a beer had no room for pudding but I wish I had. The rest of the menu is extensive and mouth watering, I wish I was here for the evening meals. There are bar TVs, a separate room with fruit machine and pool table, ample parking and a very welcoming bar staff, I enjoyed this place and if it wasn't for the distance (about 70 miles) then I'd be back more often, but I will be back as Fulstow is the village of my ancestors and I want to explore the area more.
