Mothers Day to remember - Our last visit was around 20 years ago……how this place has changed. The outside space looks fabulous, a gin garden, dining pods and garden seating. The welcome inside was very warm, Sharon showed us to our table and a young lady promptly took our drinks order. The drinks menu is extensive and the service was swift. As it was Sunday, the menu was a carvery at your table. What a fabulous idea and it was delivered beautifully. A lovely choice and enough food for everyone, there are free top ups of roast potatoes and veg, as much as you can eat. We didn’t need anymore as the portions are very generous anyway. The food was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly and the service was without fault. We eat at quite a few places but this by far blows many out of the water. The staff have been expertly trained by Sharon and it shows that they feel their job is important. It made such a nice change to be served by fantastic staff who know what they are doing. We cannot rate this place highly enough, we will be back very soon. If you haven’t been here…….don’t wait any longer! You will not be disappointed. Fabulous surroundings, great staff, gorgeous food……what more could you ask for? Thank you for the best Sunday lunch ever!

We hired an outdoor pod for a special birthday. It was something different so really enjoyed it.

·

Lovely experience in the dome, service was fantastic and food was delicious! Perfect for a family treat.

Went for Sunday roast last week in one of the pods. Gabby our waitress could not do enough for us. We all had the traditional boards & the food was very tasty, plenty of it & all presented beautifully. The pod was very cosy & warm plus there was a speaker to play our music through. Will definitely be coming back!

One of the best Sunday lunches we have had eating out.Staff was very polite service I would give them 10/10 I would definitely go again.Recommend it a definitely YES.

Good atmosphere and great staffHad a good Christmas dinner but very busy as expected.Lovely setup and atmosphere.Only issue was the wines were terrible and overpriced. Stick to beers and shots.

Reserved a pod in the garden for a meal. Was nice having our own space but the pod was freezing!I work outside and it was the coldest I'd been all week.Food was slow to arrive. Ordered drinks were forgotten. Portions were small as well. Had 3 courses and sides and wasn't filled.Had a nice evening but more about the company than the food/location.Definitely not worth £45 to reserve a pod with inadequate heating.Food was just OK. Not going to return.

This was the first time visiting for me and what a place!! The service is excellent and staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is just amazing. I would definitely recommend for a Sunday roast. We had the traditional board as we like different meats and its unlimited roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy. Good for a couple, family or celebration dinner.

Warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff, great food, nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, would highly recommend. Went for a sunday carvery and wasn't disappointed, will look forward to going back.
