Great local pub really close to the station.Arrived here whilst sheltering from the cold weather we experienced on and off during our stay in Skegness.Friendly service and the price of beer was very good for the area only slightly more expensive than the Spoons across the road. However they didn't have a log burner which certainly took the chill off.

Good standard of food and good selection of drinks with a couple of hand pulled beers. We visited on a Sunday late lunch in mid February there was a good amount of customers. There was an artist on in the afternoon and another arrived to set up for the night time. There is a quiet area at the back of the pub if you fancy some peace. The fixed in seating is showing some wear after the refurb of not many years ago which let's it down some.

Clean and bright inside even on a cold wet February afternoon.Loved the wood burning stove.Food and drink average enough and priced accordingly.Friendly welcome, good service.Right next to train station.

Friendly staff and very good value for money menu, with a good selection. We went for the 2 for £12 and couldn’t believe the portion sizes for the price. Nice decor, relaxed atmosphere. Recommended by us for sure.

Traditional pub fare, what you want/expect. Good menu and range of beers. As the sign says, food may not be fast buts its decent. Service/food wasnt slow and nice atmosphere and clean.

4.5* food was great and the best Pub meal me and my gf have had in a very long time. The Burgers we had were amazing, nice and juicy, not dry at all.Kids meal was also good my son at it all, chips were nice and crispy and soft. And the Bbq pulled pork loaded fries was amazing decent portion.Only reason it wasn't a 5* was the fact it was a little to dim in there and would of liked a little more light.Nice establishment

Sunday lunch was beautiful. x4 adults x1 child. Straight in and seated. Service was polite and cheerful. Food was absolutely excellent for £8.99. Meats cooked lovely aswell as the sides and vegetables 😋 would definitely visit again!

What a wonderful pub and restaurantSuch amazing friendly service with a smile and sense of humour!Very welcoming and I have noticed they treat their usuals like family which is what you need in a pub nowadaysDefinitely a good classic pub with a huge array of alcohol.Paul has been the best server I've felt welcomed by for a long timeMaybe it's up here or maybe it's just because the whole pub is friendly.Definitely recommend. Also as a Midlandser it is a rarity to find somewhere who does John Smith's so even better!
