Great pub. Take cash though!

Proper old pub, fire on, hand pull beers good just a shame no food at moment but COVID to blame.

Traditional pub, lovely setting and friendly staff. The garden area was ideal for a quiet afternoon drink.

I wasnt sure what to expect a brown woman in a small village pub visited predominantly locals, but it was friendly and non intrusive, I didn't have to worry. Though remember to take cash as I had to scrounge around in my bag for change to pay for half a pint!

Amazing staff and people good to make friends or meet up with friends. You can also go to the quiz on a Wednesday.

It's well hidden - no website, no car park, middle of nowhere, cash only, closed on Monday, but it does have a sign... And it's great. Very friendly. Proper beer. Food from around 1830 to 2030. (The gammon was actually the best I've ever had). But don't spoil it by descending on it all at once. There's only room for about 25 anyway.

Nice typical country pub with pleasant secludedgarden, though garden might benefit from a makeover. Good views over parkland.

I go here most Wednesday evenings for the quiz. It is well run, would highly recommend for a fun evening out. Very friendly atmosphere, I have only ever eaten sandwiches and chips (proper chips) here, but I have seen plenty of other people eating and the food looks really good. Plates always empty and happy people so must taste good as well, will be eating here myself shortly.

Reserved Sunday lunch and had the choice of beef or pork with roast potatoes and vegetables or salmon followed by great choice of puddings. Filling and very good value for under £15 per person including cost of a drink. Comfortable, cosy environment. Friendly and good service. Highly recommended.
