The Red Lion Inn Restaurant in East Lindsey

A most wonderful and warm welcome by Chris and the dog Crumble, top class room with wonderful décor, well presented, clean, warm and cosy. Food is most excellent, breakfast are amazing. Not our first visit as we have been going for many years now, it certainly will not be our last.

We have been before, but not for a few years, so was hoping it had retained its standards as we were staying a single night for a local event the next day. We had a very friendly welcome by Chris, who checked we were all sorted for the night and the next day, and we were well looked after by all the other staff. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable My choice of the full English breakfast was very tasty, with tea and toast on top. Fully recommend it.

From the moment I walked in the atmosphere was very welcoming as were all of the staff.Having stayed in many places over the years this is definitely my favourite. My only regretwas that I could only stay one night due to commitments elsewhere.The food was excellent as was the whole place , spotless & beautifully decorated.Congratulations & my best wishes for the future to all at the hotel.Nick Grant

What a fantastic couple of days staying here. Christine and her staff were warm and welcoming from the very start. The room was amazing and the hotels position was superb.Breakfast and Evening meals were both excellent. Would highly recommend. Thank you all for a lovely time.

Dropped in for a drink with my son. We were made to feel very welcome. Friendly staff,well kept beer,I hope to return for a meal. Highly recommended!!

Superbly clean and quite -if your looking for a quite night away with food -0this could be for you! Room four -outside the main building is ultra clean and very quite -lovely large double bed (actually two large singles linked) and a lovely bathroom too! Despite these awkward times the hostess is lovely (as are all the staff) Monday the restaurant is only open to guests staying overnight so it was like a private dining experience ! Lovely food -good selection of starters ,mains and puds -so go on spoil yourself!!

Massive thank you for Christine and staff, the safest place we felt since the pandemic, and hotel like yours given us the confidence to venture out. We booked last minute for the husbands birthday, and what a fantastic experience. Accommodating, helpful, very clean and the food was delicious, breakfast excellent. Well thought out to follow Covid guidance as well.

Very friendly hotel staff with excellent service. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Much effort had gone into providing an excellent breakfast. My only possible cirticism is that the food for dinner was competent rather than outstanding, but even so we enjoyed our meals on both evenings of our stay and the beer was very good. Would definitely make an effort to stay there again.
