How this pub delivers this quality of food at such a great price I know not. We eat out a lot; this was something special. I gather the landlord is the cook - all home made. If you're fortunate enough to live nearby, then make the most of it. If you're on holiday nearby, than make the journey. A British pub with superb heritage at its very best. Great locals, and a great drinker's pub too. Well done!

The food here was wonderful. Especially the desert!. Friendly staff, lovely drinks and great food. Large portions too.

Stayed at the red lion campsite for 2 nights 9 / 10 of April lovely site nice and quiet nice size pitches and facilities are good, food at the pub which isjust at the entrance was excellent nice big portions and the staff were very friendly

We were in East Kirkby for long weekend rest and we decided to go to Red Lion for a dinner. Food was fantastic and portions were huge. Atmosphere superb, lots of people with dogs. Nothing to complain about, recommend with clear heart.

This place was a last minute idea due to our bike rally being cancelled.what a great place, Landlord Chris and his staff are very helpful and welcoming, the atmosphere both fri and sat night was great, food excellent, big portions and tasted delicious, enjoyed ourselves so much we will be going back again soon.

We stayed here 26th February till 27th February 2022, with my partner and kids plus my best mate it was an amazing experience and little holiday, the plot we stayed at wasn't far from the toilets or the bar.... the bar staff was lovely.. the food was also amazing quality!! We will be staying here again

Great place.Spent 5 nights on their camp site behind the pub. Facilities basic but spotlessly clean. Pub serves excellent food at realistic prices and has a good selection of ales.

Ok so we are into our 4th day at the red lion pub & campsite & honestly I could not recommend this place enough! The whole campsite is brilliant! Chris & Steph who have been running the place are fantastic hosts! Mark the local is like a tour guide brilliant! There working hard with the place & if you look at the red lion campsite & pub as a place that’s relaxing yet with a genuinely great atmosphere then this is the place for you.Its a great base to explore the surrounding area 25 minutes from the beach & other places.The food is brilliant & excellent value for your money & my kids love the pizzas! We as a family travel a lot throughout the year in between work & this for us has been one of the most welcoming places to date.I see others complain about certain parts but the reviews are unjust i mean what do you actually want from a campsite it has all you need at a brilliant price! So too round up this review go there see for yourself & enjoy.Stay there you will love it! Oh & try there local ale Batemans superb pint!
