A lovely old thatched pub that has managed to retain much of it's character on the inside as well as out.Despite being by a main road the pub has orientated itself to best effect. The barstaff were pleasant and attentive .

Good food but not enough staff to cope with the number of customers. We gave up waiting for pudds and went home for coffee.

Disgusted with the response and customer service. Rang up with just an enquiry after looking at the wedding packages on the website. Enquired about a small civil ceremony with a meal afterwards for approx 15 people. Was blatantly told the most the could do was put a tablecloth on the table. So I said, so we cannot get married there as we are not having a full package of 40 to 60 people and I got a "no"Ok thank you very much, was just enquiring.I get the package thing but blatent rudeness I don't get.How do these places employ these people.I think there's some customer service training needed there.
