Staff were lovely. Foods gone seriously downhill since I last went. In particular, I don't know what cooking oil they are using now, but I suspect from the bitter taste it leaves it's either palm oil or old engine oil. Either way the bitter taste it leaves on the food is vile.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially after reading the on-line reviews. Service was good, place was clean, needed some soft furnishing to deaden the noise. Menu was very limited. Could not view the menus on their website prior to booking and they did not answer my questions prior to us visiting. Would not visit again.

Friendly staff, great decor. Fish and chips for lunch. Hot food on a cold plate really does not work! Oily chips, lack-lustre mushy peas. Fish was piping hot so cannot fault that. One to miss!

Great Sunday lunch with the family. Excellent roast, great starters..... But the fish on the fish and chips could be better cooked.

A delightful pub in a lovely location. We had an amazing Sunday lunch, just delicious. Staff were lovely and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Large party catered for without pre-orders. Nice decor. All good arrived in timely order except one which was wrong. Cooked fresh but was then eating half hour later than rest of table. A fish order was not clarified and misunderstood, correct dish reordered. Everyone enjoyed meals.

Beautiful place, lovely staff and really nice food and coffee would recommend 👌

Visited quite often many years ago and the place has been dramatically improved. The bar was tightly packed and quite dark, now it is bright and spacious. Apart from the decoration improvements, the feel of the place is more modern. Food was delicious from a varied menu and beers were well kept. An enjoyable experience we will hopefully have an opportunity to repeat soon.

Whilst staying with friends in the area they took us here for an evening meal. Nice pub and vibe. Menu aspires to being high end pub food. It was all very nice. I preferred my starter (asparagus wrapped with hot smoked salmon) to my main (local fish & chips as the chips tasted good but we're soggy).

Nice little pub with good service, but food was disappointing for the price. Pate came with toast as opposed to sourdough which was on the menu and duck was dry. Nice cocktail though.
