Staff always friendly. Good choice on the menu as well as drinks. Signed up for Tasty rewards and had our 1st free meal yesterday. Free parking if you eat there. Has a good Mon/Fri meal deal. 2 meals for ÂŁ8

Fantastic welcome, service and most importantly food. We both had the Sunday roast (upgraded to large) and it was really tasty, succulent meat and the accompanying veg and Yorkshire puddings were done to perfection. As a local family we will definitely be revisiting.

Lovely place, well priced good quality food with a menu that caters for all tastes. Clean tables, cutlery, menus, and glasses which makes a whole lot of difference. Table service was great, table check completed, condiments offered. We did leave a tip for the waitress by rounding up our bill, but she told us she would be taxed on it, but we still left a tip anyway, but didn't receive any sort of thankyou so kind of wished we hadn't bothered. Not really sure what was meant by that but never mind :/

Never again it's the second time i've had a bad experience with the same restaurant but different food ordered Cold, tasteless , presentation etc also they seat you where they can keep a eye on you if you know what i mean so the fish n chips in photo i ordered the chips were cold and hard and the fish was cold greasy tasteless anemic also the bread and butter i ordered was stale and moldy i wish i had taken more photos! Also i can see the other reviews on here i don't think there genuine no way.....

Lovely food and friendly staff. Only complaint was how long we had to wait for food (45 minutes)

So I got seated at my table at 7:30pm got told it was table service got my first drink, then the rest of my party arrived their ordered were taken. After this the staff were all behind the bar polishing cutlery etc.Over heard the staff a few times asking when the bar was shutting and why it isn’t shutting yet they called last orders at 10:15pm on a Saturday! Which is a little disappointing I’ve travelled two hours to see family staying in the hotel above and their calling last orders that early. The toilets were dirty and smelly :(The reason behind the generous three stars is for the morning service which were amazing the evening service would be much less.

Staff are friendly but the food is very underwhelming and they could have done better across everything we ordered. One example pictured below was described as:"Loaded Nachos £5.49Crunchy tortilla chips piled up with a mature cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella, fresh red chillies, spring onions and coriander. Served with tomato salsa and reduced fat sour cream"This is what we receivedTheir excuse, this is what head office tell them to do, they apologised and offered a free desert which is why I gave 2 rather than 1 star.Reply to your reply:Dear Sir/Madam,Having just seen your response on Google I'd like to add some clarity to what happened during our visit. The nachos were returned to the counter about 10 seconds after they were placed on our table as I was not prepared to pay nearly £6 for approximately 50p's worth of poorly presented rubbery nachos. As stated the manager at the time did deal with my complaint promptly and explained that they had to serve them in this sorry state because that's what head office make them do which is absolutely absurd and unacceptable. As for the rest of the meal, the steak I ordered medium was very well done, the chips were pretty poor and the lack of healthy choices on your current menu wasn't ideal for people looking for lighter options. The only thing going for the restaurant was the team within who were all lovely, just a shame the food doesn't match up to their standards.

Stayed at the premier inn for 2 nights while on business and had the pleasure of dining at the steamboat. First of all I have to say that the service was excellent from Shane, Nicole, Kim and the team. They were attentful, knowledgeable about the food and they couldn't do enough to provide a warm and friendly service. The food was fantastic, im always tempted to say... fantastic for the price, but even at a high end establishment charging twice these prices the quality of the proteins and the cooking temperature was bang on delivering a level of flavour I couldnt get my head around. The first night I ordered the smothered chicken which was juicy and succulent and charred perfectly. Second night I got the rump steak on its own with some garlic bread and tomatoes as I wasn't hungry but the steak was again, charred to perfection, juicy, packed full of flavour and rested with precision to make sure all the flavour was held in. None of this would have been quite as enjoyable though if it wasn't for Kim, Shane and Nicole. Thanks guys, cant wait to come back. All in all, I cant recommend this place highly enough and I am delighted to give it a solid 5 stars for food and 6 if I could for service.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good value and well presented. We had rump steak but mine was overcooked, when I told them it wasn't a problem, I waited few minutes and it was replaced.
