First visit and will be visiting again. Perhaps not during school holiday, large place can imagine it being very busy especially with the bouncy castles and play area.

Looks lovely from the main road so booked a table arrived on time only to find them understaffed lots of dirty tables waiting to be cleaned, the bouncy castles are filthy too ! A fight broke out whilst we were there so we decided to leave such a shame because it has so much potential to be a nice place

It's an okay kind of place, you know what you are going to get before you walk in. The menu is the same as hundreds of others scattered all over the country. The food was pretty good, you can always tell that when it all gets eaten.Outside is spacious and plenty for the kids to do.(warning don't sit near the door).Overall though it was fine and I would use again no problem.Edited3 years later we returned.Staff very good indeed. Just a quick note on being picky, if the food was as good the first time I came here as it was our last visit a month ago. I must be hard to please.Proper job here full marks from us two, big thumbs up. 100%.

Beautiful food. Dog friendly but gosh the staff are slow and all seem to be wandering round not doing much. Took forever to be served as staff were just walking past us like it's not their job. Slightly half soaked

Nice and clean very large garden with out door tables, good value for money on food with large portions ( to big ) staff friendly and helpful. Stayed nearby caravan for 3 nights and went to the welcome 3 times for lunch 👍

Visited twice so far and had different meals each time, the food has been spot on both times. Staff are friendly and welcoming, dogs are welcome too. We will definitely be visiting again

Gorgeous pub, with bouncy castles to keep kids entertained. Lovely meals and reasonably priced. If sitting in pod try and choose one with plastic sides as can get a bit cool.

Had driven past a couple of times and it looked nice. However the service was shocking, no customer service whatsoever. We sat outside and struggled to get inside to order due to the number of staff hanging round the doorway. Not one of them said hello or offered to help with the tray of drinks I had to carry from the bar to the outside table we were sitting at. The friers were broken apparently so no fish and chips. To top it all off the bangers and mash came and the sausages were absolutely disgusting, extremely powdery, seemed to be a mix of grit and pepper. No sign of any meet or moisture. Nobody came to ask if the food was OK even though 3 staff stood and watched us eat from the doorway. When one came to clear the glasses we complained about the sausages and a manager came and gave us a refund with little hesitation. Please avoid, service is shocking and the food isn't much better. Oh and the child's beefburger was waifer thin, no cheese or anyhting. AVOID

Went in for lunch with my father, food was absolutely outstanding, drinks were great, atmosphere was nice and service was really friendly and fast.

Dropped in, walking, for a couple of pints to quench the thirst on a beautiful day. Completely covid safe and organised.Fantastic singer providing entertainment.Unplanned visit so didn't sample food, but would revisit if in area again. Recommended.
