Stayed at the White Hart three times now, lovely rooms. Baby seagull nesting outside our window. Breakfast great, staff friendly. I left my charger in the room and they offered to post it back to me for free. Would recommend.

Been here a few times for either breakfast, brunch, or lunch with friends, but sadly do not know what has happened with waiting staff. We had lunch, and all seemed well, sat down and ordered, then it went all wrong. We had our food, & then it was like we become invisible, we had to ask twice for drinks to be ordered, we ordered 1 and it disappeared as soon as the female waitress had walked away, so we tried again when another waitress was cleaning a table next to us, to follow up on our drinks order to then find out, it hadn't been order. Once we finally got the painful order in for 1 cocktai, we then waited 1 hour for it to arrive back to our table.Ask 1 male waiter if we could order a sweet and he literally rolled his eyes at me, upon my request.Waited another 30 minutes for then someone to take our order, and that was purely only because the girl was setting up the table next to us, as the male waiter had forgotten we existed. We then ordered our sweet I ordered a black coffee only for the male waiter looked at me confused sighed at me, and correct me on the sweet which I was saying. Basically mocking me which was vexing. Then we asked for the bill, only to wait another 50 minutes for no one to come back, in the end we went and paid and rejected the 10% service charge. When asking to pay there was 4 members of staff walking around like they were lost, not one of them acknowledging us.In the end we asked a young girl to sort our bill, she then refused cash waving her hands at my friend saying "we don't accept cash here" when in my view money is money, and what if you had no other means of payment? It's a shame because the food was on point and the cocktails but literally the service needs a shake up, the staff need a shake up really. & to wake up, because this was the first time I had taken my friend here and at the start she was so impressed and in the end she couldn't wait for us to get out.

Restaurant now closed. You can only eat in the bar area. Tables far too close together. Too noisy. Too many people from the bar constantly walking past to use the toilets. Terrible ambience. Food was excellent though, as were the staff. Overall very disappointed. There is now nowhere in Boston to eat in a decent setting.

excellent food if a little pricey. Service could be better, we ordered a bottle of New Zealand wine, only when we were halfway through the wine did we notice they had served a French wine (same grape). It is usual to show customer the bottle before opening and pouring.

Main course nicely presented but the chips were mostly scraps. Forgot the condiments we asked for too. Would have liked a choice of mushy or garden peas for the scampi and chips.Beef on a bed of horse radish mash was beautifulPuddings were fabulous and plentiful. However maim courses way over priced

Arriving in reception we were greeted by a slick and professional service (hassle free) Our room 102 Whitham Suite was beautifully decorated with ample space. It had a fantastic view from the window of the river, good tea/coffee facilities with an incredibly comfortable queen size bed. Breakfast was well presented and the whole hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely come again and would highly recommend.

Great experience as usual. Lovely room with everything you need. Had an evening meal here for the first time and it won't be the last. Every body in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

Would just like to say I had my first experience with yourselves tonight as was recommended however I was not impressed with the level of service me and my family received, went out for a lovely meal and came to yourselves for drinks to finish the evening however we were told to leave abruptly. The lady waiting was rude and unwelcoming. I have worked in customer service 10 years and would never dream of talking to a customer the way she spoke to me and my family tonight. Safe to say we will not be returning to yourselves and we will be passing our experience onto our friends for near future. Very disappointed.

Staff were all attentive, caring, knowledgeable and worked very well as a Team. Nothing was to much trouble. Staff were always trying to ensure customers received the best customer service. The hotel is decorated beautifully combining the old with the new decor and there is a sense of welcoming throughout. The food menu was varied providing a selection of al a carte dishes to choose from and there was a specials menu which covered many old favourites. The drinks menu offered a good selection of wines and spirits and there were local beers on the menu.My husband and I would like to thank all the staff for giving us a wonderful 2 night stay, you all made it very special THANK YOU.

Had a lovely two days at this hotel. Beautifully clean & sanitised. Very friendly staff, gorgeous well-cooked meals. Comfortable beds, prestine white sheets & towels lovely comlimentary toiletries The only downside was the price of drinks, which was as usual the same as any public house, very expensive. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again as this hotel never disappoints, always improving. Great couple of days break.
